From Infowars.com: “Russian researchers Turchin and Chernyakov wrote, “there is no evidence of an afterlife. But there’s also no proof that medical death is the end of subjective experience, or that death is irreversible, or immortality impossible.”
Excerpt: “Triune Man: Body Soul and Spirit” (Home Page)
“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Genesis 1:26-28
“But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.” 1 Cor. 2:10-12
Man was made in the image of God and God is a Trinity. Therefore, it follows that a triune God would create a triune man. The difference is that the Trinity is one God in three Persons, whereas a triune man is one person in three parts: body, soul, and spirit (1 Thess. 5:23).
“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.” Gen. 2:7
This body did not have life. It was just formed, without life. The Word of God tells us that God “breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul (human being)”. The soul is what gives life to the body, and God’s “breathing into” him reveals a relationship between God and man. It is the crucial part of being human. The soul ‘animates’ and informs the body, so that even in the womb the fetus can be seen moving and performing living traits. Tertullian imagines God preparing a created form into which He can incarnate Himself ultimately in history.
Originally created in God’s image (having a spirit, being eternal) and after His likeness (sinless), the Spirit of God could live in Adam and Eve. “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24
There is a road map to eternity for all men that researchers Alexey Turchin and Maxim Chernyakov apparently have no idea about.
“But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (1 Cor. 2:14)
It is a choice that men and women must make while in the body.
“Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve.” (1 Corinthians 15:1-5)
Judgment of the saved:
Those who have accepted the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ as atonement for their sins will live eternally after being judged for their works while on earth …
2 Corinthians 5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.”
2 Timothy 4:8 “Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to those who love His appearing.”
Revelation 4:10-11 “They cast their crowns before the throne …”
Judgment of the Lost:
Those who have rejected the pardon for sin that Jesus provides will also live for eternity, but apart form God …
Revelation 20:11-12 “Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and the books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.”
