The Bible makes it clear that everyone receives the Holy Spirit the moment he or she believes in Jesus Christ.
The fruit of the Holy Spirit is the result of the Holy Spirit’s presence in the life of a Christian, and generally appear gradually through the process of ‘growing in grace’ (Godly principles from within).
Spiritual gifts do not primarily arise out of the inward life, but are sovereign acts of a great Giver.
Love is a ‘fruit’ rather than a ‘gift’. If we use spiritual gifts without love, we are nothing, and it profits us nothing, 1 Cor. 13:1-3.
