Front Page Mag: On December 13, former vice president, Joe Biden, appeared on CBS with the hosts of “This Morning” where he peddled his new book and showered his former boss with praise. During the course of the interview, he was asked about his relationship with Obama and responded with the following; “I’ve served with eight presidents and I’ve gotten to know four of them very well.
I’ve never met any president that has more character, more integrity, and more backbone than this guy does.” Then he went completely off the rails when he absurdly added; “And eight years, not a hint — not a hint — of a scandal.”
What was perhaps even more outrageous than the statement itself was the fact that none of This Morning’s hosts challenged the veracity of that statement and allowed it to pass without a scintilla of scrutiny …

Opinion: Surely Joe Biden knows of the above scandals. But he says there was not a scintilla of scandal. We all have friends and family who are like Joe Biden. In fact, during this Christmas weekend, Editor and I had three such experiences.
- A friend with whom I shared secular (here) and Biblical (here) proof of the rightful owner of the Covenant land, rejected this truth.
- The family member who was included in a group text about Jesus’ birthday at Christmas replied with secular icons
- The family member who denies any blessing to our nation due to the president’s acknowledgment of Jerusalem
In one weekend!
“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, Lest they should see with their eyes, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them.”
I always considered John 12:40 to be only about the belief in God. But if a person does not believe in God, then the things of God and specifically, any truth that does not support a God-less agenda, would be included.
Peter called such people “scoffers:
“knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 2 Peter 3:3-4
“None so deaf as those that will not hear. None so blind as those that will not see”
Matthew Henry
I know exactly how you feel! Our human tendency is to call them stupid (“Two things in life are sure: death and human stupidity. And I’m not real sure about death.”); but we fight not against flesh, but against powers and principalities in high places, Eph 6:12. There’s a young “Pharisee” in our church who graduated from a near cultic Church of Christ seminary back east who keeps spouting off that God is done with the Jew despite being proved wrong many times. He also likes Wm Hendriksen’s book on Revelation which is a butchered mish mash of fluffy religious sounding poop that makes no rational sense. When called out about it, his response is “its too confusing to understand.” The book is a “revelation” not confusion. But it becomes confusing when 5th century Augustinian gnosticism is used to interpret it. Satan also goes to church.
