Arutz Sheva: Deputy Minister Michael Oren (Kulanu) on Sunday responded to a demand by the Palestinian Authority (PA) to expel Israel from the United Nations in the wake of the approval of the Nationality Law.
“The 137 countries that recognized a Palestinian state did so with the intention of advancing peace, and what are the Palestinians doing in response? They are appealing to the United Nations to demand that Israel be expelled from all international organizations. This time, the excuse is the enactment of the Nationality Law,” he said.
“Even without the Nationality Law, the goal of the Palestinians was and remains the same – to wipe Israel off the map,” the Deputy Minister said. “Unfortunately, those 137 countries that recognized ‘Palestine’ are wrong to think that the PA’s activity is meant for peace.” more …
Opinion: To wipe a nation off the map is the same as being able to one day say that a nation never existed. Think about that. Why so much hatred?
“You shall not abhor an Edomite, for he is your brother. You shall not abhor an Egyptian, because you were an alien in his land” Deuteronomy 23:7.
In my research in writing Antichrist: The Search for Amalek I found a common thread among the most virulent Jew killers (Edomites) going all the way back to the first Biblically-recorded terror attack: self-loathing of their Jewish blood.
As the son of Isaac and Rebecca, Esau was born into Jewish blood. His hatred for his brother Jacob was so intense that when Isaac was near death, Esau vowed to kill Jacob but never did. Killing Jacob, his twin, demonstrated Esau’s self-loathing of his Jewish blood. Where Esau failed, Esau’s illegitimate grandson, Amalek succeeded:
“Amalek was first among the nations,
But shall be last until he perishes.” Numbers 24:20
The Hebrew word ʼachărîyth is used for “last” meaning latter time (prophetic for future time). The final Amalek, Antichrist, will perish when the Lord returns (Isaiah 63:1-3; 2 Thessalonians 2:8).
