Breitbart: “The White House is calling on Republicans to approve the president’s controversial Trans Pacific Partnership deal, in response to reports that the economy only grew 1.2 percent in the second quarter.
“Today’s report underscores that there is more work to do, and the President will continue to take steps to strengthen economic growth and boost living standards, including promoting greater competition across the economy; supporting innovation; and calling on Congress to increase investments in infrastructure and to pass the high-standards Trans-Pacific Partnership,” wrote White House Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers Jason Furman in a statement.”
Opinion: If there was just one deal or treaty that could create the globalist Utopian government prophesied in Daniel 7:23, it would be TPP.
The Investors Business Daily in a summary of TPP said that once approved the massive trade deal would be a “living document”:
“This means that additional nations could be added to TPP without congressional approval and that the president would be authorized to implement modifications to TPP “as appropriate.”
The Constitution explicitly states (Art. 1, Sect. 8, para. 3) that Congress shall “regulate Commerce with foreign Nations.” There is no constitutional authority for surrendering or transferring this congressional responsibility to the president.
And there is much more:
The TPP comes in the form of a 5540 page document (longer than the Bible) filled with impossible legalese, not read by any member of Congress, and is linked to an alphabet soup of supporting deals.
- TPIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership)
- APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation)
- FTAAP (Free Trade Area of the Asia-Pacific)
Collectively, the trade agreements will unconstitutionally transfer legislative powers between members from the U.S. Congress, our state legislatures, and our city and county governments to multi-national corporations and unaccountable international bureaucrats at the World Trade Organization ( WTO).
As for the 2016 election, the choice that America will make is for globalism or Americanism. The outcome should provide interesting clues as to the lateness of the hour.
