CNS News: “Our society can have no tolerance for this continuation of bloodshed. We cannot stand a moment longer for the slaughter of innocent people,” President Trump said Tuesday, standing side by side with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas in Bethlehem.
The president offered his prayers to the people of Manchester, England, where a terrorist killed at least 22 people and injured dozens of others attending an Ariana Grande concert Monday night.
Trump called terrorists “evil losers”. He thanked the Palestinians and Abbas for hosting him and said he is “committed” to trying to achieve an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal.
Opinion: I dunno – but there is an oxymoron in there somewhere.
Mahmoud Abbas is a terrorist. He is not a former terrorist but a current one. It is Abbas who is credited with the stabbing/car ramming intifada that has taken many more lives than Manchester.
And it is Abbas who pays Palestinian families for acts of terrorism. Abbas is also an unelected president and has been since 2009.
Why would a legitimate president call an illegitimate president, president? And does the president really think that Abbas is committed to peace?
When an Edomite comes to power, war is never far off. Identifying Esau can only be done with Scripture: Ezekiel writing 2500 years ago gives clues:
Ezekiel 36:5. “… Surely I have spoken in My burning jealousy against the rest of the nations and against all Edom, who gave My land to themselves as a possession, with wholehearted joy and spiteful minds, in order to plunder its open country.”
Notice how nothing has changed. Edom who is Esau, still wants God’s land that was given only to Abraham and his descendants after him (Genesis 17:7-8), which includes Isaac and Jacob (Gen. 35:10) and their descendants.
Jeremiah and Obadiah confirm that Esau would be deceptive and must be searched out:
“But I will strip Esau bare; I will uncover his hiding places, so that he cannot conceal himself.” Jeremiah 49:10
“Oh, how Esau shall be searched out! How his hidden treasures shall be sought after!” Obadiah 1:6
If President Trump thinks he can create peace without the blessings of the God of Jacob (Psalm 146:5) he not only wrong but possibly leading the world toward the final wars.
