Who Ya Gonna Fight? Landmark Treaty Signed To Create EU Army

Zero Hedge: EU leaders formerly endorsed the harmless sounding Permanent Structured Cooperation, or PESCO, pact on Thursday evening in Brussels. After the shock of Brexit, the goal of defence integration was revived by former military foes, Germany and France, supported by Italy and Spain, in a show of EU unity.

A similar proposal was blocked by the French parliament in the 1950s. Now a treaty has been signed which sees the defence union complete by 2025 in what has been described as “one of the most tangible steps in EU integration since Brexit”. more …

Opinion: A similar proposal was also prophesied by John in Revelation 19:19:

“Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and His army.”

But before we get a beast army, however, we first need a beast (Revelation 13:1):

“Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.”

Jesus was giving John a look at the beginning of the great tribulation spoken of in Matthew 24:21: For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.”

Lets’s take a trip down memory lane to see how the EU was formed. How ironic that an innocuous treaty in 1951 led to the Treaty of Rome, which according to Bible prophecy is the likely predecessor to the Revived Roman Empire of Antichrist.

The European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC) 1951 – meant to coordinate the production of coal and steel within Europe. Signed by France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

The ESSC was then followed by three more treaties which established a “European Union”:

The Treaty of Rome 1957 – this same group of countries opened the door to the creation of the European Economic Community (EEC) and the European Atomic Energy Community or EURATOM to create a common market based on the freedom of movement of people, goods, and services.

The Treaty of Brussels 1967 – the objective was to merge the existing institutions

The Treaty of Maastricht 1993 – from this moment on, it is possible to speak of a genuine European Union, with the addition of intergovernmental cooperation in such areas as foreign policy and internal security.

The collective treaties granted EU citizenship to every person who was a citizen of a member state and preceded two more treaties that allowed for additional member states and leadership:

The Treaty of Amsterdam 1999 – sought to reform the EU institutions in preparation for the arrival of new countries.

The TREATY OF LISBON 2007 – introduced the figure of the President of the European Council and the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security .

The now defunct TPP was a clear path to European dominance by weakening the United States economically. Thanks to President Trump, the TPP is dead, but a new brand of nationalism which started with Brexit, is pushing the EU to form a tighter union with greater security than NATO can offer.

The 4 final world empires are coming into view:

  • King of the North: re-formed Syria, Iraq, Russia, Iran, Turkey (Ezek. 38:1-6)
  • King of the South: Egypt, North Africa, (Dan. 11:36-39, 11:40)
  • Western Alliance, Beast Army of Antichrist – revived Roman Empire (Psalm 2:1-4; Rev.16:14, 19:19)
  • Kings of the East – China, (North Korea), East Asia (Rev. 16:12)
