Will Netanyahu govern forever?

al-Monitor: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s May 14 assessment that the next election will not be moved up was intended to stifle the buzz in Israeli political circles. According to him, the election will be held as scheduled, in November 2019.

Over the last few weeks, Netanyahu watched as a coalition crisis over Israel’s Public Broadcasting Corporation — a crisis for which he was responsible — threatened to see the Knesset dissolved and set his coalition partners into campaign mode. Netanyahu threatened Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon in March with early elections unless the Kulanu chair accepted a compromise on the issue.
Netanyahu released this mollifying message at a meeting of coalition leaders on May 14. That evening, Channel 2 News reported that he even instructed the heads of the Finance Ministry to prepare a state budget for 2019, hinting that the current government is here to stay. more …

Opinion: The short answer is no.

There is a time of peace coming that few Christians know anything about. Religious denominations who have been deceived by Replacement and Covenant theologies have dismissed the rebirth of Israel as a nation (Isa. 66:7-8; Ez.26:22-24, Ez. 36:8-10, Ez. 37:1, 11-14) and held firm to allegorizing Scripture negating the book of Revelation and the second coming of Messiah Jesus.

Revelation 19:11-16:

“Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.”

Jesus’ literal and physical return to rule the nations. Isaiah 63:1-3 explains why His robe is stained with blood:

“Who is this who comes from Edom, With dyed garments from Bozrah, This One who is glorious in His apparel, Traveling in the greatness of His strength?—

“I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”

Why is Your apparel red, And Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?

“I have trodden the winepress alone, And from the peoples no one was with Me.
For I have trodden them in My anger, And trampled them in My fury; Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, And I have stained all My robes …”

Bozrah was the capital of Edom, who is Esau (Genesis 36:1). Esau swore to kill Jacob but God has His protection around His elect and ends the 4000 year old blood feud.

And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean,[f] followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp[g] sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS AND
LORD OF LORDS.

Notice that the King did not take is bride, the church, to do battle with Edom as their robes are white. The world is now about to enter 1000 years of peace as Satan is bound (Rev. 20:1-2) and the saints, Jews, and those who came to Christ during the tribulation reign with Christ 1000 years.

Revelation 20:4-6:

“And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.”

  1. Excellent synopsis!! If the church goes through the tribulation as Covenant/replacement theologians expound, then it is tantamount of having the Son of God (the Lamb) as the second person of the Trinity waging war against the third person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, who is embodied in the church. Those who think this need to read Matthew 12:22-30 (A house divided). How devastated does it get in the tribulation? by the end of the 6th trumpet (Rev 9:13-21) 1/2 of the earth and mankind are destroyed. If you are the church living in the ‘kingdom’ at this time, would you be impressed?

    • I have several friends who hold on to the post-trib position. I have used every rebuttal except “the Son of God (the Lamb) as the second person of the Trinity waging war against the third person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, who is embodied in the church.”
      Thanks for a great point.
