Bloomberg: It’s tough to be gloomier than billionaire George Soros right now.

America has elected a would-be dictator as president, the European Union is disintegrating, U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May won’t last long as her nation prepares to secede from the EU, and China is poised to become an even more repressive society, the investor told Bloomberg Television’s Francine Lacqua from the World Economic Forum in Davos.

“It is unlikely that Prime Minister May is actually going to remain in power,” Soros said. She has a divided cabinet and base and Britons are in denial about the economic impact of Brexit.”

Opinion: Richard the Centurion, one of our readers, sent me a timely heads up on Mr. Soros “the word soros is a Greek word/term for the Hebrew equivalent of a funeral coffin or bier that Jews use to carry their dead to be buried. Can be also interpreted as a container or box of bones.  A case of the walking dead”

How perfect is that? The EU will be very different from the current 28 member countries, according to Bible Prophecy. George, the coffin Soros, sees trouble coming but probably not because of prophecy.

The book of Daniel calls for the EU to be divided into 10 divisions, each with a leader.

“The ten horns are ten kings Who shall arise from this kingdom. And another shall rise after them; He shall be different from the first ones,
And shall subdue three kings.” Daniel 7:24

What is so fascinating about Daniel is that all 12 chapters are written for this generation:

“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” Daniel 12:4

The knowledge that the great prophet speaks of is knowledge of the living breathing word of God. The generation that witnessed the budding of the fig tree (Israel’s rebirth) just turned 70 this year.

  • 7 is the number for completion
  • 70 is the number for Jerusalem

Israel’s will celebrate the 70th anniversary of its rebirth on May 14, 2018.

Psalm 90:10 “The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years …”

Interesting times.

Zero Hedge: “Washington will turn into a virtual fortress ahead of Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration on Friday, as the U.S. capital braces for more than a quarter-million protesters expected during the Republican’s swearing-in.

About 28,000 security personnel, miles (kilometers) of fencing, roadblocks, street barricades and dump trucks laden with sand will be part of the security cordon clamped around 3 square miles (almost 8 square km) of central Washington.

Opinion: CNN is gleefully reporting a potential designated survivor scenario that could land an Obama Cabinet member in the Oval Office. The LA Times says it’s last call to get over the border before President Trump puts real teeth in immigration laws, and an LGBT group is dancing in front of Vice President-elect Pence’s home.

The supposedly tolerant left is coming unglued because they just cannot stand intolerance.

Reuters: “This year’s forum, from Jan. 17-20, is expected to be dominated by discussion of a surge in public hostility toward globalization and the rise of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, whose tough talk on trade, including promises of tariffs against China and Mexico, helped win him the White House.
