A Letter From Ken Timmerman: Putin and the 25th Amendment

Dear RC,

Tucker Carlson has been criticized widely for not asking “tough questions” of Vladimir Putin during his two-hour long interview this week.

But for anyone who has watched Putin over the years, as I have, that’s not just silly carping from wannabe journalists: it reveals their ignorance of Putin and Russia.

Putin is a master of deflection. Ask him a direct question – hey, Vlad: how come you always put your opponents in jail? – and he’ll respond with a ten minute lecture about the deficiencies of Western “democracy.” (Do you in the West really have democratic leaders? Who actually choses them? Etc.)

And shouted questions from the media mob? Just doesn’t happen – not in Russia, not in Communist China, North Korea, or Iran.

The national media does us a tremendous disservice by not interviewing Putin and his cohorts. As Americans, we need to know what he thinks and what motivates him, before we let the Party of War pick our pockets of yet another $60 billion to arm Zelenskyy.

One thing that came out of the two hour mush with absolute clarity was Putin’s willingness to negotiate an end to the conflict. He’s not out to exterminate every last Ukrainian – as the Palestinians want to do to their Jewish neighbors. It’s not even certain he wants to replace Zelenskyy with a pro-Moscow puppet. But you’d never know that to listen to our media mob or General Lindsay Graham.

Now contrast the Putin interview to the brief press conference by President Biden on Thursday after the Special Council report dared to characterize him as, basically, senile. It wasn’t just calling the president of Egypt the president of Mexico: it was his whole demeanor.

Now even the media mob is talking openly about invoking the 25th Amendment. President Harris anyone?

I discuss this and the situation in Iraq, where the U.S. thankfully took out an Iranian-backed militia leader, on this week’s Prophecy Today weekend. I continue to believe that the U.S. needs to strike at Iranian assets directly, not just their proxies. The Iranian regime is willing to fight America to the blood of the last Iraqi, but not to the blood of their own leaders. We need to hit them where it counts.

As always, you can listen live at 1 PM on Saturday on 104.9 FM or 550 AM in the Jacksonville, Fl, area, or by using the Jacksonville Way Radio app. Otherwise, you can listen later to the podcast here.

Yours in freedom,
Ken
