Kirk Cameron Talks Boycotts, New Book, And Slams Pride Month Celebrations
Actor Kirk Cameron talked about the Bud Light and Target boycotts over its woke agenda, his new book “Pride Comes Before the Fall” and slammed the idea of a whole month glorifying “who people like to have sex with.”
The 52-year-old actor spoke to The Daily Wire about his book, the first in a series of books on the seven deadly sins, which deals with Pride “because it’s the deadliest.” He said despite what critics are claiming, his book from Brave Books is not anti-LGBTQ, but instead “pro-humility.”
“Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” Proverbs 16:18 KJV
He said kids have loved it because they understood the message right away which is “that when you are prideful and think of yourself first, you’re headed for destruction. But when you think of others first and you look to serve them then you win.”
“I think that at the end of the day, there are those who want to take my book about humility and somehow twist it into a narrative that it’s an anti-gay book,” Cameron said. “Which couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s simply a pro-humility book.”
“Everybody needs to learn the blessing of being humble and thinking of others first,” he added. “Feeding the ‘me monster,’ self-satisfaction, self-exaltation always leads to misery.”
When pressed further about the books’ release in time for Pride Month, the “Lifemark” star said he couldn’t “think of a better time for this book to be released.”
“Number one, it’s just in time for kids getting out of school in June …,” Cameron said. “I do understand though that of course this is Pride Month. l think it’s deeply concerning that we have one month out of the year that has been set aside to glorify who people like to have sex with.”
“What I see happening culturally with Bud Light and Target and North Face and other companies who are leaning into this ESG woke agenda,” he added, is a “strategy” to “distract everybody with cries for empathy, inclusion, and diversity. And then claim that it’s all just harmless human rights.”
“And then they go after the kids, like in these Drag Queen Story Hours … because they are the most vulnerable and easily influenced,” Cameron continued. “So they wash over their innocent little consciouses with this leftist propaganda knowing that it will become the reality of the next generation. And they [will] have successfully destabilized and de-organized our current social system in order to reorganize it according to a value system made in their own image.”
Cameron said the good news is that “millions of Americans aren’t buying it” which he said was a big part of the reason companies like Bud Light and Target are hurting.
“I think that it’s important that we vote with our dollars and we support companies and the people that support America and America values,” the “Growing Pains” star said. “But at the end of the day, we need to turn our hearts to God because this problem is bigger than just shopping for shoes and bathing suits at another store.”

EU Commission Hails End of Petrodollar, Welcomes ‘Multipolar Global Currency Regime’
The European Commission has apparently publicly welcomed the end of the American petrodollar, heralding what they describe as a new “multipolar global currency regime”.
Responding to a written question from a member of the European Parliament, the European Commission has said that it welcomes the beginning of a new “multipolar” without the U.S. dollar at its centre.
“And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.” Daniel 9:26
Formerly a cornerstone of the 21st-century world order, the petrodollar system which underwrites American economic hegemony is now under attack, with both Russia and China working to insert their own domestic currency as a viable alternative for the purchase and sale of fossil fuels worldwide.
Now, it appears that the EU may be interested in muscling in on U.S. territory in this regard too, with the European Commission saying that it would like to see its Euro currency adopted for more international energy transactions in the near future.
Writing in response to a parliamentary question on the fall of the petrodollar, EU financial services commissioner Mairead McGuinness said that she and her colleagues welcome a global shift away from the U.S. currency in favour of a more competitive landscape.
“The Commission will continue promoting the international role of the euro and, more generally, is supportive of a multipolar global currency regime which can be beneficial to improve the stability of the international financial system by limiting the impact of external and idiosyncratic monetary shocks on the economy,” the commissioner wrote on Tuesday.
“To strengthen the international role of the euro, the Commission continues to pursue targeted actions,” she continued. “As regards the use of the euro in the energy and commodities sectors, the EU will continue to discuss with key stakeholders to further increase the share of the euro.”
