JPost: US President Joe Biden released a statement Thursday, congratulating Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on swearing in his sixth government. “I look forward to working with Prime Minister Netanyahu, who has been my friend for decades, to jointly address the many challenges and opportunities facing Israel and the Middle East region, including threats from Iran,” Biden said in a statement.

The President also noted that “the United States will continue to support the two state solution and to oppose policies that endanger its viability or contradict our mutual interests and values.”

“The United States is working to promote a region that’s increasingly integrated, prosperous, and secure, with benefits for all of its people,” he added. “From the start of my Administration, we have worked with partners to promote this more hopeful vision of a region at peace, including between Israelis and Palestinians. We aim to continue this important work with Israel’s new government under Prime Minister Netanyahu’s leadership.”

US Jewish groups congratulate, express concern

Major US Jewish groups also reacted to the formation of a new government in Israel. The Jewish Federations of North America congratulated incoming Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “We have had a long and fruitful relationship with the incoming Prime Minister and we look forward to continuing to work with him and the new government to support the growth and vitality of the Jewish State and to strengthen the relationships between Israel and the North American Jewish community,” the group said.

“Jewish Federations’ commitment to strengthening the ties between Israel and North American Jewry is an eternal one, and the bonds that unite our two communities are unbreakable,” the statement reads. “Our love and commitment to the Jewish State transcends any one government, any one point in time, and any particular policy or statement.” Read More …

Opinion: Whenever a progressive politician speaks of ‘unbreakable bonds’ with the Jewish state, you can bet the end result will be horrifying …

Barack Obama went on to become the one man, who before leaving office, instructed Samantha Power to abstain, as 14 members of the UN Security Council passed Resolution 2334:

  • That Israel′s settlement activity constitutes a “flagrant violation” of international law and has “no legal validity”
  • It further demands that Israel stop such activity and fulfill its obligations as an occupying power under the Fourth Geneva Convention

And Joe ‘two state solution’ Biden’s new friends Dianne Lob and William Daroff of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, congratulated Netanyahu as well. Bibi better watch his back.

See if you can pick out the word in this next paragraph that disguises their real hatred …

“Prime Minister Netanyahu, a longtime friend with whom the Conference has worked since the 1980’s, is deeply committed to the strength of the relationship between Israel and Diaspora communities,” they said in a statement.”

A Diaspora community refers to a community of people who live outside their shared country of origin or ancestry but maintain active connections with it. A diaspora includes both emigrants and their descendants.

The only community that fits the description of a Diaspora community is Israel, who was scattered from the land in 70 AD and began to return in 1891.

UN to the rescue:

In 1965, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) changed the definition of refugee:

In doing research for her 1984 book originally supporting Arab rights to the land of Israel, From Time Immemorial author Joan Peters found a nagging discrepancy between the standard definition of a refugee and the definition used only for the Palestinian Arabs. Historically, a refugee is someone forced to leave a permanent or habitual home.

For the Palestinian Arabs only, the definition is changed from “permanent” or “habitual” to a ‘two-year occupancy’: “persons whose normal place of residence was Palestine between June 1946 and May 1948, who lost both their homes and means of livelihood as a result of the 1948 Arab-Israeli conflict.”

Peters’ research of the facts led her to support the state of Israel.

As Joe Biden famously said on the campaign trail to become president:

And so goes the unbreakable bond.
