Israel 365: Mordechai Kedar, Israel’s top Arabic culture academic and lecturer at Bar-Ilan University published an article on Friday stating that US President Joe Biden is supporting elections for the Palestinian Authority’s leadership not only in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza but in East Jerusalem as well.
This move he explains, will “prove to the world that Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital is no longer valid.”
Kedar demonstrates that Biden is trying to woo the PA back to the negotiation table with Israel in order to hammer out a ‘deal.’ He explains that because it will be much more difficult to attract PA chairman Abbas back to the negotiating table, Biden is exhausting greater efforts to curry their favor than he is Israel.
He demonstrates his hypothesis with “three concurrent developments.” The elections he explains are a type of show of demonstration that the Palestinian state that Biden would like to establish came about democratically via elections from all factions of “all sectors of the Palestinian people…even Hamas.”
The second development according to Kedar is the Muslim Brotherhood’s return to Washington’s corridors and picking up where they left off with Obama. Hamas is connected to the Muslim Brotherhood and having them participate in the elections will provide the terror organization with a stamp of legitimacy.

Opinion: They (secular left politicians) really can’t help deluding themselves when it comes to Israel.
When the Bible is left out of the equation, every dangerous/non-sensical theory is on the table:
- Palestinians were in Israel for 3000 years and have equal right to the land
- Palestinians only want to live in peace and security with Jews
- Palestinians only want to to be treated with dignity and respect
If any one of the 3 points were true, there would have been two states in Israel, since it was offered to both sides in 1947. Israel accepted, Arabs refused.
The Obama Biden Administration openly took the Arab side and spent 8 years pushing a two state solution.
A little history:
After World War I, the Ottoman Empire which had sided with Germany, collapsed and with it any right to the land.
The allies divided up the lands. In keeping with the 1917 Balfour Declaration, Israel was designated land on BOTH sides of the Jordan River as a Jewish homeland.
In 1922, Britain placated the Arabs and gave 78% of the land designated for Israel to the Arabs; that land is called Jordan. The two state solution was born, one for Jews and one for Arabs.
Today there are 22 Arab states and there is one tiny sliver of land for Israel.
