White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre declared this week that the children of America “belong to all of us” in the course of defending the surgical and chemical “gender transitioning” of children, articulating a view of state prerogatives versus parental rights that fuels much of the Biden administration’s stance on the issue.
Fox News reported that Jean-Pierre attended the 34th annual GLAAD Media Awards last weekend, where she told far-left feminist website Jezebel that “we have to call that out,” referring to the spread of state legislation making people wait until legal adulthood to be given puberty-blockers, cross-sex hormones, or so-called sex-reassignment surgery. “And we’ve never seen this level. It’s historic in the number of pieces of legislation.”
Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Genesis 6:5
“I’ve met a lot of parents of trans kids in the past couple of months who have told me these devastating stories, whether they’re in Texas or Oklahoma or wherever they are, saying how they now have to seriously consider leaving their state to protect their child,” she went on. “That’s something that we have to call out and continue to be very clear about. These are kids. These are our kids. They belong to all of us.”
The remarks echo similar sentiments expressed recently by President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and various other Democrats, which critics say is indicative of disrespect for parents’ right to have the primary and final say over significant impacts on their children’s development, and a preference for the government to supersede their authority.
The Biden administration has given uncompromising support for the extremes of the gender-fluidity movement, from holding White House events to “affirm transgender kids” and condemning state laws against underage transitions as “close to sinful,” to promoting underage transitions, potentially at taxpayer expense, as a “best practice,” and requiring federally funded educational institutions to let males into female athletic competitions.
Yet despite their framing of the issue, evidence shows that “affirming” a child’s confusion about his or her biological sex carries severe harms, especially when such affirmation takes the form of physically transformative medical procedures.
Studies find that more than 80% of children experiencing gender dysphoria outgrow it on their own by late adolescence, and that even full “reassignment” surgery often fails to resolve gender-confused individuals’ heightened tendency to engage in self-harm and suicide — and may even exacerbate it, including by reinforcing their confusion and neglecting the actual root causes of their mental strife.

Vs, good to hear from you. All that you said in quoting these scriptures is right and true and just. however I think you vastly misunderstood what I’m trying to say. Matthew 26 was a different context than what this situation just happens to be. Jesus was ready then and there to go to the cross for the salvation of us all and those that would receive him, furthermore he had plans for Peter to go and evangelize. And of course that would not have happened had Peter died in a sword fight with them soldiers coming after Jesus. My sword of choice is the sword of the spirit, the infallible word of God! And what you spoke regarding Matthew 5:44 absolutely right and just to do this no argument there. You also cited scripture from Galatians 5:22 concerning the fruit of the Spirit all of that is correct, again no argument. These are things my wife and I cherish and do the best as we can to live by these. What I’m saying is when confronted by these lhbtqp people we have to show them these scriptures, and this is where it can get dicey these people have a tendency to get violent. The Lord does not want us to be cowardly but he does not want us to be hateful or spiteful either we must be strong and courageous as Joshua spoke. The word meek is taken out of correct definition so often, however the word meek actually means controlled power. That power is to not be abused but only used in context on a per situation basis not using too much or not using enough. For instance a couple is out evangelizing they are telling this group transgenders and so on these scriptures and these people turn violent and starts pounding on this guy’s wife is he to stand there and let his wife get pounded on or does he defend her these people are really blinded by Satan and they get violent we have an obligation to protect our loved ones, our wives. The word is to be given to them out of love and kindness so they don’t end up standing at the great white throne judgment. In closing when giving these people or anyone else the word for that matter, Jesus spoke these words and Matthew chapter 10 verse 14 If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake that dust off your feet when you leave that home or town. I tell you the truth, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment then for that town. This that Jesus spoke are for those that will not listen and don’t believe. This situation is very serious and I take it as such. And I hope vs you may know a little bit more about my heart now, at times I do employ tough love as did our beloved brother apostle Paul did, for good reason the seriousness of the times we live in, This is eternal life or never-ending eternal death we’ve got to help these people this is what I mean by get up and fight!
author1, this story makes me exceedingly ill in my spirit. I just received news this morning that here in my state, the state of New York the Democrats have unanimously passed a directive that the New York State legislature should mandate LHBTQP curriculumin all New York State schools!!! And this is to be done by the end of the 2023 school year. I suspect they will also try to mandate this for home schooling. My pastor and his wife homeschool their two sons. This mandate is Dead on arrival with them and all others who serve the Lord. People that know the truth need to stand up and fight this. However father God is being patient right now, but the time is coming in the not too distant future when he’s going to say that’s enough!!! Then he calls us, The church home and then the great 7-year tribulation. Judgment comes and it is going to be bad for these people left here. It is absolutely Paramount that we pray for these people, get up and fight this depravity while we still can and get those to Jesus whom we can for salvation. Children do not belong to the Biden administration. Children belong to their parents. It is very sad to see though, that many parents according to your article are going along with this transgender agenda and even considering moving out of state so they can get their puberty blockers and surgery done it’s all mind of depravity. The Bible does not use the word transgender but at the end of the day it all comes back to one word, homosexual! The church and others need to show these people what 1 Corinthians chapter 6 says about this, That the wicked will not inherit the Kingdom of heaven and this is one of the things mentioned in it among others. Pray pray pray that the Lord will open their eyes and ears.
Good morning, johndea. Me again. We do live in interesting times and I’m suddenly reminded of the following situation from the Gospel of Matthew:
Matthew 26:52–53 ESV
52 Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword. 53 Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels?
And from Matthew Chapter 5:
Matthew 5:44 ESV
44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
It’s easy to get frustrated at what we see around us. Being indwelt by the Holy Spirit provides us an opportunity to see with greater clarity than those who are not saved and we are to use this gift for both the Great Commission and for administering to those in need. And what an opportunity we have before us! Has there ever been a better time to showcase Christianity?
The division is wide and the lines are clear. Go show’em what we’re about:
Galatians 5:22–23 ESV
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
