First – pandemic. Then – recession. Now, Russia invades Ukraine. Anything else, world?

Yahoo News: Like many Americans, Marsha Delgado has endured two difficult years.

The 50-year-old watched vulnerable patients at her Santa Ana radiology clinic struggle to recover from lung damage caused by COVID-19. She has clashed with patients who would not wear face masks. And she has not attended a family gathering for months because some relatives refused to get tested for the virus while she was being treated for metastatic breast cancer.

As case rates began to fall, her stress finally started to ebb. Then Russia invaded Ukraine.

“I saw the ugly side of humanity in the last few years,” Delgado said. “It’s extremely frustrating. We’re tired. The world is tired. We’re tired of fighting each other.”

With COVID-19 cases falling and mask rules easing, life seemed like it might soon return to normal. That thread of hope was snapped late Wednesday, when Russian troops attacked Ukraine, sparking fears of a global conflict.

A war in Eastern Europe and a looming humanitarian crisis have triggered fresh waves of anxiety and depression for Americans who have spent two years trying to survive an unprecedented period of instability, including a public health crisis, a recession, political upheaval, supply chain problems and inflation.

Pain, sadness and confusion swept across social media Wednesday and Thursday, with people expressing shock and frustration at the unfolding crisis and mounting casualty count. Many said they felt powerless to help.

Some said they feared for the safety of loved ones stuck in Ukraine. Others wondered whether the conflict, 6,000 miles away from California, could reach the U.S. — then expressed guilt about those worries, as Ukrainians fled the country and took shelter in subway stations to avoid Russian airstrikes.

Others turned to dark humor as a coping mechanism. Read More …

Opinion: Marsha, Marsha, Marsha. If we are where I think we are on the Bible’s timeline what we are seeing now is like getting to a movie theatre 20 minutes early and watching scary previews of coming attractions.

You see Marsha, the apocalypse has not started yet. Millions of Christians are still on earth and Antichrist is not on the world stage … yet.

How uncanny is it that the first warnings Jesus gave His disciples about His return are on websites all over the world this morning:

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” Matthew 24:6-8

Close, but not yet. First, comes the rapture:

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” 1 Thess 4:16017

Billions, some of whom identify as Christians, but have not accepted the pardon for sin that Jesus’ blood provides, will be left behind when Christ returns for His church Rom. 5:9; 1 Thess. 1:10, 5:9; 1 Cor. 15:51-52; 2 Thess. 4:16-17.

If we view Matthew 24 in the proper context, we find the first 14 verses relate to the first 3.5 years of the tribulation. Matthew 24:15-16 is the dividing line:

“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.”

From then on to the end of the Olivet Discourse, the Jews and unrepentant Gentiles, for whom this chapter is intended, will find themselves in the final 3.5 years of God’s wrath called the great tribulation.

So, what will those left behind be in for?

Two Wars:

  • Psalm 83
  • Ezekiel 38-39

Antichrist arrives (Revelation 6:1-2)/Peace Treaty is confirmed between Israel and many (Daniel 9:27)

  • 7 Seal Judgments: (Rev. 6:1-17, 8:1-6)
  • Temple is built – animal sacrifice restored (Dan. 9:27)

Revival of the Roman Empire, 10 nation confederacy formed (Dan. 7:23)

Charismatic world leader deposes 3 of 10 world leaders (Daniel 7:24)

7 Trumpet Judgments (Rev. 8:1-13)

Rise of Antichrist, (11th king/Little Horn) (Jer 30:7 Dan. 7:8, 24; Rev. 13:1-8)

Rise of the False prophet – Mark of the Beast (Rev. 13:11-12, 16-17)

Forty-two months (3.5 years) into the tribulation, the peace treaty with Israel is broken. Antichrist enters the Holy of Holies and declares himself to be God. The Abomination of Desolation, the Great Tribulation is about to begin (Jer. 30:7Dan 9:272 Thess. 2:4Matt. 24:21)

So, Marsha, if you are in pain now and have not received the pardon for sin that only the blood of Jesus Christ provides, this is only the beginning …
