JPost: Terrorism and human rights are simply irreconcilable. Despite purporting to champion human rights, the United Nations has nevertheless been at the center of numerous terrorism-related controversies. These include the Taliban’s ongoing candidacy for a seat in the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) and widespread concerns that the UNHRC’s open-ended Commission of Inquiry targeting Israel is whitewashing and enabling the crimes of Hamas and other terrorist groups in Gaza.
It has now come to light that the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) – the main UN agency responsible for assisting refugees worldwide – has partnered with and accepted nearly $50 million (NIS165 m.) from member charities of a US-designated terrorist organization: the Union of Good. The relevant member charities are the Qatar Charity and Eid Charity, both of which are already individually designated as terrorist organizations by five Middle Eastern governments.
The Union of Good is an umbrella fundraising organization of charities and was designated as a terrorist organization by the US Treasury, in 2008. This is because it is an organization created by Hamas leadership to transfer funds to the terrorist organization. As noted by the Counter Extremism Project, the Union of Good includes the Qatar Charity and the Eid Charity.
Since 2012, the UNHCR has accepted approximately $49 million (NIS161 m.) from the Qatar Charity.
Opinion: Numbers 23:9
“from the top of the rocks I see him,
And from the hills I behold him;
There! A people dwelling alone,
Not reckoning itself among the nations”
It has always been that way. Israel alone. It is hard to wrap ones mind around the one people group that provided the prophets, 39 of 40 books (Luke was likely a Gentile) of the Bible, and the Messiah, and yet have suffered the worst discrimination/genocide in history.
Try to list Israel’s allies. Better scratch off the US since Joe Biden has resurrected Barack Obama’s Middle East policy of a two state solution with a Palestinian capital in East Jerusalem, in violation of Genesis 15:18, 17:7-8; Joel 3:2; Amos 9:15.
Think about that. Israel is alone and mostly secular and will remain that way for the most part until the end of the Gog Magog war:
The invasion force will be so vast that it will more than double the 1967, war and will have a similar outcome except this time God will win the war and Israel will not have to fire a shot.
“I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign Lord. Every man’s sword will be against his brother. 22 I will execute judgment on him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him. “ Ezekiel 38:21-22
At the end of that war, God’s people will desire a return to Covenant relationship, demand a temple with animal sacrifices (Daniel 9:27), as they make their way back to the land to put a final end to the diaspora (scattering) that began in 70 AD and continues today.
“Then they will know that I am the Lord their God, for though I sent them into exile among the nations, I will gather them to their own land, not leaving any behind.“ Ezekiel 39:28
One day, possibly today, the church of Jesus Christ will vanish and God will turn His complete attention too the salvation of Israel during a time of tribulation.
Once again God will not leave His people alone.
Revelation 11:1-14 Two Jewish witnesses empowered by God as prophets will stand on the Temple Mount and perform miracles that will infuriate the Antichrist …
Revelation 14:1-5: God will provide 144000 Jewish male virgins, those not defiled buy women, to preach the Gospel to the world …
Finally the Holy Spirit will put Jesus in the hearts of the God’s people …
“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.” Zechariah 12:10
… and all Israel is saved
“The Deliverer will come out of Zion,
And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
27 For this is My covenant with them,
When I take away their sins.” Romans 11:26-27
