Former Secretary of State John Kerry has purchased a piece of water front property on Martha’s Vineyard. According to the Vineyard Gazette, Kerry paid almost $12 million last week for 18.5 acres and a home overlooking Vineyard Sound at Seven Gates Farm in Chilmark.

Former President Obama and his family are now permanent homeowners on Martha’s Vineyard, after completing the purchase this week of a large home situated on nearly 30 acres in the coastal perimeter of Edgartown.
