Zero Hedge: Natural gas is THE critical input into making fertilizer. Urea is essentially ammonia in solid state, the process of which entails reacting ammonia with CO2. And we all now know — thanks to the climate Nazis — that CO2 is currently the devil. The problem of course is that with no natural gas there is no urea, and with no urea there is no fertilizer. And with no fertilizer… well, we will eat each other.
Something else that we had noted some time back (in Korea) but which now seems like a larger problem.
Here is an article about an Australian farmer who warns the urea supply crisis could halt normal life within weeks.
Here’s what he says:
‘Not only will we not be able to grow cattle and we will not be able to grow food and we will not be able to grow grain or anything like that, but even if we could, we can’t move it, because we can’t turn a wheel in a truck because we have no Adblue,’ [AdBlue is needed for diesel vehicles — half of all trucks on Australian roads run on diesel]
As of February we might not have a truck on the road in Australia, we might not have a train on the tracks.
‘So quite literally the whole country comes to a standstill as of February.’ Read More …
Opinion: President Joe Biden’s 7th executive order on his FIRST day in office cancelled the Keystone Pipeline while restricting oil and gas drilling on Government lands, laying off thousands of workers and making the US dependent on Arab oil once again.
As bad as that is, I hadn’t considered that the progressive wingnut who put his signature on the 7th executive order would actually consider shutting down the cleanest energy we have in great abundance, natural gas. I also hadn’t considered that a lack of ammonia needed for fertilizer could be due to a shortage of natural gas.
An old friend is in the logistics business of moving commodities around the world by large ships. I asked his opinion on this and his answer startled me. He said in the last 2 years ammonia, needed for fertilizer, rose from $100 per ton to over $1000 and is now at $850. Who will absorb that price increase? If you guessed the manufacturer or the shipper you would be wrong. You and I will absorb the cost in the price of food.
Anyone who has studied the 6th chapter of Revelation will know that the 4th Horseman of the Apocalypse (Rev. 6:7-8) is depicted by a pale horse who follows the economic catastrophe of the 3rd Horseman (Rev. 6:5-6) who brings economic collapse.
The 4th horseman however, doesn’t get much coverage, probably because he brings death to 25% of the world’s population. When you consider the effect that global hyperinflation will have on the world it begins to add up.
Imagine with me what the 3rd horseman will bring: mass starvation. Imagine your neighbors becoming desperately unable to feed their families. Imagine the news reports of people literally dying in the streets because the only energy that is available for refrigeration to them is from wind and solar power. Refrigeration will only work intermittently like in Texas last winter. And what food people hoarded will be spoiled and make them sick.
Take the mark of loyalty, says a powerful religious figure (Rev. 13:11). The new god of the earth will take care of all your problems. Revelation 14:9-11 makes that a real bad idea:
“Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”
God offers a pardon for every sin we have ever committed and even sins in the future. Not one person should go through the tribulation but the many who reject the pardon, that the Blood of Christ provides, will by their own choice.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ:
“Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. 3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve.” 1 Corinthians 15:1-5.
