Holocaust explained by Fatah: Jews deserved to be killed because of “who they are”

Palwatch: On Facebook, Fatah posted the three photos above from World War II together with a story it presented as authentic. According to the version posted by Fatah, Jews willingly and eagerly agreed to bury Russian civilians alive in order to save their own lives. Seeing this, a Nazi soldier proclaimed to the Russians:

I just wanted you to know who the Jews are and why we are killing them!

[Official Fatah Facebook page, Feb. 27, 2019]

Fatah chose to post the text without comment. It did not condemn this story for portraying Jews as evil, selfish, and ungrateful. Nor did it distance itself from the Nazi commander’s justification of the murder of Jews in the Holocaust based on the antisemitic libel that Jews are defined by these character traits.

Fatah’s antisemitic story justifying the murder of Jews in the Holocaust does bear some similarities to a historical account documented by a JTA news release on Nov. 27, 1942. However, in reality, Jews and Ukrainians all acted heroically by refusing to bury each other alive, and therefore were all murdered by the Nazis. more

Opinion: When you come right down to it, the smallest of people groups are at the center of human history, in the same way that Jerusalem is at the center of the world.

“This is Jerusalem, which I have set in the center of the nations, with countries all around her.” Ezekiel 5:5

Look at what Moses said about his people.

“The Lord did not set His affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath He swore to your ancestors that He brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt.” Deuteronomy 7:7-8

Throughout history Jewish people have amazed the world with scientific discoveries, accounting for .02% of the population but winning 22% of the Nobel Prizes.

Jewish people have endured persecution unlike any people group, been dispersed from their land for almost 2000 years and came back, started over, and in 70 years have a vibrant economy, free democratic society, and are the 8th most powerful nation on earth.

When Jews fight wars against not only larger nations, but groups of larger nations, they win miraculous victories (Judges 7; 2 Chronicles 20; Six Day War of 1967). And Biblical prophecy records that miraculous victories will continue to happen in the final wars of this age (Psalm 83; Ezekiel 38, 39; Daniel 11:40-45).

There is nothing with which to compare the Jewish people on earth. And no nation is the beneficiary of more prophecy than Israel.
