Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked: If We Lose, the Palestinians Will Have a State

Jerusalem online: Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked, of the New Right Party, has warned that the Trump Administration’s peace plan, expected to be presented after the April 9 elections will endanger new settlements in the West Bank.

“From a public perspective, what matters is that the right-wing bloc is losing strength and we can have a Palestinian state in a year if the right doesn’t win,” Shaked said during an interview on TV Channel 12. more …

Opinion: Malachi 1:4

Even though Edom has said,
“We have been impoverished,
But we will return and build the desolate places,”

Thus says the Lord of hosts:

“They may build, but I will throw down;
They shall be called the Territory of Wickedness,
And the people against whom the Lord will have indignation forever.

To get the context we first have to pinpoint where Edom is today.

When Esau left his brother we are told he moved his tribe to Mt. Seir in southern Jordan, modern day Petra. Edom (red in Hebrew), means the descendants of Esau (Genesis 36:1) and the home of the Edomites, or Edomite tribes.

Excerpt Antichrist: The Search for Amalek: “At the same time (586 BC) the Israelites were being carried off (to Babylon), the descendants of Esau were pushed out of their ancestral homeland in Mt. Seir, southern Jordan, by a tribe known as the Nabateans.

Unable to go due west to take on the more powerful Egyptians, the Edomites traveled northwest and settled in the lush pasture lands of Judea during the Babylonian captivity of the Jews.

Due to the preponderance of Edomites, the Greeks and Romans later named the area to the south of Judea “Idumea.

Five hundred years later, a man called Judas Iscariot from the town of Kerioth in southern Judea, became a follower of Jesus. The rest of the disciples were from Galilee.

2000 years after that, Edom’s descendants are causing the same chaos in the same area of Judea, but don’t tell anyone that – they will just stare at you before changing the subject.

So Edom today has fulfilled Malachi 1:4, and according to Isaiah 63:1-3, Edom will still be there until the Second Coming of the Savior.
