Jewish prayer has returned to the Temple Mount

JPost: Jewish worshipers are able to pray on the Temple Mount with what appears to be the tacit consent of police forces at the site, The Jerusalem Post observed during a visit there on Thursday.

A senior Wakf Department official said he was unaware of any change in the status quo on the Temple Mount, but warned that any change would lead to renewed protests and spark a strong response from Arabs and Muslims.

Opinion: Last May I carefully took this picture of an Arab woman praying out loud on the Temple mount. I say carefully because tension on the mount was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

Only Arabs were allowed to pray on the temple mount, Jews and Christians were under threat of arrest.

Even them I will bring to My holy mountain,
And make them joyful in My house of prayer.
