Israel 365: In what is being called a “Christmas miracle”, twins were born from a terrorist’s sperm that was smuggled out of an Israeli jail in a reenactment of the anti-Bible reprieve given the king of the Amalekites.
Last week, a woman in Gaza announced proudly that she had given birth to twin boys on December 4 to the twin sons of a terrorist who is currently serving time in an Israeli jail. The terrorist became a father after his sperm was smuggled out of Israel.
The Telegraph reported the birth as a “Christmas miracle”, comparing the birth of the terrorist’s sons to the birth of Jesus. The father, Nahed Hmeid, has been in an Israeli prison since 2007 for his role in firing rockets at Israeli civilian centers from Gaza and for deploying roadside bombs.
The mother, Rasmeya Hmeid has visitation rights, she last saw her husband in 2020 due to coronavirus restrictions.
“My husband has the right to be a father and to make a family,” Hmeid said.
The mother could not reveal all of the details of the process.
“I can’t reveal the secret,” she said. “All I can say is that it was a very complicated process.”
KING SAUL’S AND AGAG
The incident is highly reminiscent of the Midrash that relates how Agag, the king of the Amalekites, was spared by King Saul (I Samuel 15) despite the Biblical mandate to wipe out the nation of Amalek. Before he was killed, Agag sired a child who would keep Amalek’s lineage alive. Some 500 years later, one of this child’s descendants was Haman the Agagite who sought to wipe out the Jews of the Persian Empire under King Ahasuerus.
Despite the Biblical precedent, the Israeli prison service is, through neglect, enabling another generation of Palestinian terrorists intent on genocide. Read More …
Opinion: Moses prophesied about Amalek. Moses knew first hand the terror Esau’s grandson inflicted on the weak and infirm in the Exodus. Thirty five hundred years later Moses prophecy is being fulfilled right in front of our eyes in Israeli prisons:
“Because the Lord has sworn: the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.” Exodus 17:16
Bloodlines are a sensitive subject these days and most Christian denominations prefer to keep this one buried deep in the Bible, treating the daily terror in Israel as a recent phenomenon.
In our homemade video “The First Terrorist” narrated by our tech guy Louis, the hatred Amalek has for Jacob is so deep it passed through one hundred generations. In fact don’t take my word for it take the prophecy of Malachi, the last prophet of the Old Testament.
In Malachi 1:1-5, Esau’s descendants are prophesied to be doing exactly what they are doing in Gaza and Judea today. Trying to take back the land that heir predecessor Esau squandered for a bowl of red lentil soup (Genesis 25:29-34).
“I have loved you,” says the Lord.
“Yet you say, ‘In what way have You loved us?’
Was not Esau Jacob’s brother?”
Says the Lord.
“Yet Jacob I have loved;
3 But Esau I have hated,
And laid waste his mountains and his heritage
For the jackals of the wilderness.”
4 Even though Edom has said,
“We have been impoverished,
But we will return and build the desolate places,”
Thus says the Lord of hosts:
“They may build, but I will throw down;
They shall be called the Territory of Wickedness,
And the people against whom the Lord will have indignation forever.
5 Your eyes shall see,
And you shall say,
‘The Lord is magnified beyond the border of Israel.’
Yes Virginia, it is that old.
