WND: A report by the Vatican’s own newspaper reveals Pope Francis recently hung an image behind his desk depicting a naked Jesus Christ caressing his dead apostle Judas Iscariot.
In an article titled “Judas and the Scandal of Mercy,” L’Osservatore Romano dedicated the first three pages of its edition the day before Good Friday to a makeover of the disciple who betrayed the Son of God at the Passover.
The author of the lead editorial, Andrea Monda, said the paper chose this year to honor the “most tragic and unsettling” figure of the Gospel.
The Catholic-defense group Tradition in Action was among the first to blast the display, writing:
The editor – probably obeying an order of Pope Francis – chose to post on its front page the reproduction of a picture, above and below first row, that presents a naked Jesus bending over and tenderly ministering to a dead Judas
Opinion: Judas has many names in Scripture. In John 6:70, Jesus referred to Judas as the devil. That Pope Francis considers Judas as redeemed by Jesus points to the lateness of the hour.
A Great Falling Away:
In 2 Thessalonians 2:3 Paul is teaching his followers that before the man of sin (devil) is revealed, there will be a falling away from the faith.
(Pope Francis is the head of over 1.2 billion Catholics, by far the biggest Christian denomination. Catholics are cautioned to depend on the Magisterium (Pope and Bishops) to interpret Scripture)
In 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Paul teaches that Satan will exalt himself above God and sit in the temple of God claiming he is god.
In Revelation 13:3-4 John teaches that when the Antichrist comes on the world stage he will at first be influenced by Satan, but when he receives a mortal head wound and false resurrection, Satan will actually dwell within him.
So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”
In Revelation 13:11-12 we find that a global religious leader has joined with Antichrist as second in command depicted by two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.
“And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.”
- he deceives those on earth with signs and wonders (Rev.13:13)
- he orders a statue of the Antichrist (Rev. 13:14)
- he gives breath to the image of the beast (Rev. 13:15)
- he demands that all worship the image or be killed (Rev. 13:15)
- he orders all to take a mark to be able to buy and sell (Rev. 13:16
Deception is the first sign of His return that Jesus gave to His disciples …
“Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.”
