Protesters Construct Guillotine Outside Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’s Home

Washington Examiner: Protesters on Thursday responded to a report that Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is the first man to be worth $200 billion by building a guillotine in front of his Washington house.

The protest, organized to demand a $30 minimum wage for Amazon workers, attracted about 100 people, led by former Amazon employee Chris Smalls. Smalls, who has protested Bezos before, gestured at the billionaire’s house and decried his record-setting wealth.

“Give a good reason why we don’t deserve a $30 minimum wage when this man makes $4,000 a second,” he said.

Smalls told his own story of employment at Amazon, saying the company had not responded adequately to the coronavirus pandemic. Smalls said he worked long hours without adequate pay and that he saw other people come in for work who were infected with the coronavirus. In late March, he walked out of the Staten Island shipping center in protest. Amazon fired him shortly afterward. Read More …

Opinion: Previews of the Apocalypse continue to appear while a Biblically deficient world snoozes.

“And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.” Revelation 20:4

The ancient Jewish prophets spoke of the promise of a kingdom, but now for the first time, we get the length of 1000 years.

Two groups are seen:

The first are those who were raptured to meet Christ in the air before the tribulation (1 Thess. 4:16-17). These saints will receive their reward.

The second group, those who were beheaded because they did not worship the Antichrist or his image and had refused the mark (Rev. 13:16-17), are also rewarded.

Jeremiah called this: “… the time of Jacob’s trouble, But he shall be saved out of it.”

Zechariah confirmed: “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.
