The Bible speaks of 3 classes of people throughout history and prophecy.
“Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God” 1 Corinthians 10:32.
From the time of Adam to Abraham, all people were Gentiles (Genesis 10:5).
Abraham was called by God to begin a new nation, and thus, became a Jew (Hebrew/Israelite). Jacob was his grandson, whom God renamed “Israel” (Gen. 32:27-28). His 12 sons became the 12 tribes of Israel and began the Hebrew nation.
The Church, the body of Christ (Ephesians 1:22-23), began on the day of Pentecost. It is composed of only saved Jews and Gentiles. We are speaking here of the true church of genuine believers in Christ, their Savior.
