SUNDAY STUDY: The Mission of the Church

We are now living in the ‘Laodicean’ or ‘Last Stage’ of the Church’s history in this dispensation, which reveals the fact that the next event is the “Return of the Lord…”

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” Rev. 3:20

  1. Hello, Centurion,
D’accord! Larkin so powerfully explains and diagrams Scripture.
A literal exposition and lining up Divine revelation dispensationally lead to a clearer understanding of the Word.
He didn’t confuse the Church with Israel.

  2. THANK YOU!! Author, I needed that! I’ve read several Clarence Larkin works. He wrote most of his books 100 + years ago – back when truth was simple and to the point. Our mission is not just run around and play church but to present the Gospel and look up for our redemption is nigh. Contrary to conventional Christian belief, the church is not the prophesied kingdom. The King and the kingdom are awaiting that last “gentile” to enter the fold – Romans 11:25.
