Sins are crimes against God and His need for justice requires punishment. Jesus came to Earth as the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29).
Man’s sins are stacked up to the heavens, and God cannot ignore them. We say, “He’s God. He can do anything. Why doesn’t He just forgive us?”
