Turkey’s Parliament Authorizes Military To Deploy Troops In Libya

Zero Hedge: At a moment pro-Haftar Libyan forces have reportedly made advanced near Tripoli International Airport, Turkey’s parliament has voted to approve Erdogan’s next controversial foreign military adventure — sending troops to Libya to bolster the government under Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj based in Tripoli.

Turkish lawmakers approved the motion (325 to 184) at an emergency session on Thursday to grant a one-year mandate for troop deployment, despite the clearly ratcheting destabilization in the North African country which has been in essentially a state of anarchy since US-NATO regime change aimed at decades-long ruler Muammar Gaddafi.

Opinion: There are 3 recent developments that are paving the road to the Gog Magog war.

  1. Motive for war:

Israel, Cyprus and Greece are Signing an Agreement to Build a Pipeline that Will Bring Israeli Gas Across the Mediterranean Sea to Europe

Ezekiel 38:13 gives us the motive: “Have you come to plunder?” Ezekiel foretold of three of Israel’s allies who are seemingly surprised by the attack, and apparently unable to come to Israel’s aid.

Until the massive 2010 Levant natural gas find, Israel had imported gas from Egypt via the al-Arish-Ashkelon pipeline, which was terminated due to Egyptian Crisis of 2011-14. As of 2014, Israel produced over 7.5 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas a year.

Between now and 2025, Israel will become a major exporter having signed multi-billion dollar contracts with Jordan and Egypt. Once the EastMed pipeline is complete, Israel could be a major competitor to Russia, whose economy is highly dependent on gas sales to the EU.

By the God of your father who will help you, And by the Almighty who will bless you
With blessings of heaven above, Blessings of the deep that lies beneath, Blessings of the breasts and of the womb” Genesis 49:25

2. North Africa joins the attack:

Russia’s New Focus On Africa Brings Ezekiel’s Gog Magog Prophecy Into View

Russia sends more arms to Africa than any other country and the supply is rising, according to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.

“Weapons exports to Africa facilitate Russia’s broader diplomatic efforts to cultivate military, political, and security ties and expand its influence in Africa to compete with the United States, France, and China”

“Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets” Ezekiel 38:5.

3. Turkey gets into position from the south:

Turkey’s Parliament Authorizes Military To Deploy Troops In Libya

Yesterday Turkish lawmakers approved the motion (325 to 184) at an emergency session on Thursday to grant a one-year mandate for troop deployment.

Ezekiel 38:8 gives us the one prophecy holding the Gog Magog invasion back:

“After many days you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war”

That war, possibly Psalm 83, has not happened yet.
