Round Two: US Drone Airstrikes Kill 6 Pro-Iran Militia Commanders

Zero Hedge: Whether he is eating ice cream or not, Trump appears to be on a rampage to recreate the end of The Godfather.

Less than 24 hours after a US drone shockingly killed the top Iranian military leader, Qasem Soleimani, resulting in equity markets groaning around the globe in fear over Iranian reprisals (and potentially, World War III), the US has gone for round two with Reuters and various other social media sources reporting that US air strikes targeting Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units umbrella grouping of Iran-backed Shi’ite militias near camp Taji north of Baghdad, have killed six people and critically wounded three, an Iraqi army source said late on Friday.

Iraqi official media has also confirmed that two vehicles were targeted north of Baghdad, carrying commanders of the pro-Iran militias in the PMUs.

Two of the three vehicles making up a militia convoy were found burned, a Reuters source said, as well as six burned corpses. Reaper drone targeted a convoy carrying several high ranking officials of #PMU (Hashd al-Shaabi) in #Taji, North of #Baghdad… It is not known whether Qais al-Khazali is dead or alive! Read More …

Opinion: The Godfather? …

“Let this be a warning to terrorists: if you value your own life, you will not threaten the lives of our citizens,” Trump declared at the beginning of a campaign event with evangelical leaders in Miami.

Or King David?

God had sworn that He would have war with Esau’s grandson, Amalek (Exodus 17:16),  from “generation to generation”.

Israel’s first king, Saul, had been instructed to kill all the Amalekites (1 Samuel 15:1-3) but he disobeyed and kept Agag, king of Amalek, as a trophy.

In 1 Samuel 30 we find Israel’s second king, David, trying to kill all the Amalekites again:

“Then David attacked them [Amalekites] from twilight until the evening of the next day. Not a man of them escaped, except four hundred young men who rode on camels and fled” 1 Sam. 30:17.

And about 600 hundred years later, in Esther 3:1-15 we find Haman, a descendant of Agag, the Agagite [Amalekite] trying to kill all the Jews of Persia (modern-day Iran).

Only His son, Jesus, will have the power to destroy the blood line of Esau and Amalek (Obadiah 1:18; Isaiah 63:1-3).

Mr. Trump does not know with whom he is dealing.
