The Times of Israel: Asked for comment on Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s recent remarks against the establishment of a Palestinian state, a US State Department official tells The Times of Israel, “We believe that a negotiated two-state solution is the only viable path to achieving a lasting resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.”

The official adds: “We have a frank and ongoing discussion with the Israeli government on the importance of a pragmatic approach on Palestinian issues in working toward that goal in tangible ways.” Read More …

Opinion: I know you are probably as sick of hearing about the two-state solution nonsense as I am of writing about it. But, the sheer idiocy of it by the world’s lone superpower makes it necessary to repeat for the 50-100 people all over the world who come to this site daily via searches.

The Biden government, complete with a secular Jew running the State Department, is pushing the ME toward war.

The conflict began in Genesis 25:29-33 over a bowl of soup:

Now Jacob cooked a stew; and Esau came in from the field, and he was weary. 30 And Esau said to Jacob, “Please feed me with that same red stew, for I am weary.” Therefore his name was called [g]Edom.

31 But Jacob said, “Sell me your birthright as of this day.”

32 And Esau said, “Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?”

33 Then Jacob said, “Swear to me as of this day.”

Edom will never live in peace with Jacob, we have Esau’s word on it.

“And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.” Genesis 27:41

So – what blessing?

To Jacob:

“May God give you heaven’s dew
    and earth’s richness—
an abundance of grain and new wine.
29 May nations serve you
and peoples bow down to you.
Be lord over your brothers,
and may the sons of your mother bow down to you.
May those who curse you be cursed
and those who bless you be blessed.” Genesis 27:28-29

To Esau:

“Your dwelling will be
    away from the earth’s richness,
away from the dew of heaven above.
40 You will live by the sword
and you will serve your brother.
But when you grow restless,
    you will throw his yoke
from off your neck.” Genesis 27:39-30

Do you see the problem?

The conflict cannot end until Jesus ends it (Habakkuk 3:3; Isaiah 63:1-3)

A word of caution. If you tell a Bible skeptic (or worse) that the trouble in the Middle East is over a bowl of soup, you will be  written off as an idiot.
