What Would Happen if a Nuclear Bomb fell on Tel Aviv?

Israel Hayom: First of all, this is merely a scenario – one that is almost fictional at the moment. But technically, a nuclear attack on Tel Aviv could happen if a terrorist organization or an enemy state (*cough* Iran *cough*) decided to push past the point of no return.

Historian of science Alex Wellerstein has created an interactive map that lets users see what would happen in the event of a nuclear attack on various major global population centers. Through reported models of nuclear weapons and their effects, including the size of the fireball, the blast radius, radiation danger zones, and more, the map projects the results of imagined nuclear attacks on crowded cities.

A small bomb on Tel Aviv would kill 84,000 instantly and wound 250,000, an interactive map shows. Read More …

Opinion: The scene: The great Gog Magog war is over by God’s intervention (Ez. 38:18-21). The mighty armies of Russia,Turkey, Iran, and North Africa have fallen on the mountains of Israel, and the clarion birds and wild animals have gorged themselves on their flesh (Ez. 39:3-4).

“Then those who live in the towns of Israel will go out and use the weapons for fuel and burn them up—the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel. 10 They will not need to gather wood from the fields or cut it from the forests, because they will use the weapons for fuel” Ezekiel 39: 9-10.

Our small group back in 2010 studied these verses when one of the men commented that if the weapons will be burned for 7 years, couldn’t that indicate that the Gog Magog war happens just before the 7 year tribulation and not during the first three years as we  originally thought?

Next we studied Ezekiel 39:12: “For seven months the Israelites will be burying them in order to cleanse the land”, possibly indicating nuclear contamination, and from there we changed Bible Prophecy 101 chapter 10 to reflect our new theory.

Yes, Virginia, Bible prophecy does seems to confirm a small nuclear strike on Israel, but it’s the enemy armies who take the hit.
