Jewish Press: According to a new report published on Monday by NGO Monitor (EAPPI: The World Council of Churches’ Training Camp for Anti-Israel Advocacy), the Ecumenical Accompaniment Program in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI), a group operating since 2002 under the auspices of the World Council of Churches (WCC) has brought 1,800 volunteers to Judea and Samaria to “witness life under occupation” – something the WCC does not do in any other conflict zone.

“By singling out Israel, EAPPI embodies anti-Semitism, as defined in the International Holocaust Remembrance Association’s working definition,” the report argues.

According to the report, “despite marketing itself as a human rights and protection program, EAPPI places significant emphasis on political advocacy before, during, and after the trip. When volunteers return to their home countries and churches, they engage in anti-Israel advocacy, such as BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanctions) campaigns and comparing Israel to apartheid South Africa and Nazi Germany.” more …

Opinion: Code word for anti-Semitism: Occupation.

Israel’s victorious Six Day War of 1967 provided the nation with land previously mandated to it by the 1917 Balfour Declaration. From 1917 to 1947, Britain repeatedly made concessions to the Arabs handing them control of the West Bank (Temple Mount), the Sinai, the Gaza Strip and the Golan Heights.

In the Six Day War, Israel regained these natural God-made buffers which protect the Jewish state from annihilation. The UN has demanded that Israel give them back, i.e. “the 1967 borders – occupation”.

Since then, Israel has given back Gaza and the Sinai in exchange for peace that has never come.

The WCC organization’s members include denominations which claim to collectively represent some 590 million people across the world. They are in about 150 countries, including 520,000 local congregations served by 493,000 pastors and priests, in addition to elders, teachers, members of parish councils and others.

The WCC, like the Roman Catholic church, adheres to replacement theology, a belief that God replaced His chosen people, Israel, with the church, and the church is now the beneficiary of God’s covenant and promises to Abraham. The result is overt and massive anti-Semitism.

The combined WCC and RCC followers represent some 1.8 billion self-described Christians, outnumbering all of Islam.

From Bible Prophecy 101 chapter 3:

“Replacement Theology may be either Amillennial or Postmillennial. It is currently the most widely held belief in Catholic teaching as well as the World Council of Churches, the Presbyterian Church USA, the Methodist Church, the Lutheran Church (ELCA), the Anglican Church and the United Church of Christ.” Excerpt: Bible Prophecy 101 Chapter 3 here.
