Iranian State Media Promotes Kamala Harris Applauding Student Accusing Israel of ‘Ethnic Genocide’

Breitbart: The social media account for Iranian state media, Press TV, promoted a clip of Vice President Kamala Harris applauding a student who accused Israel of “ethnic genocide” and expressed “hurt” at the U.S.’s decision to fund the Iron Dome missile defense system.

Press TV tweeted out a clip of the exchange, from Tuesday, of the vice president and a female student from Virginia’s George Mason University during a Q&A session following an event commemorating National Voter Registration Day.

The student, who identified herself as part-Yemeni, part-Iranian, and “not an American,” said the policy decisions from the United States, such as funding Saudi Arabia and Israel, affect her life “every day.”

Zvi Yehezkeli, Arab affairs analyst at Channel 13, on Friday morning warned that Israel has no plan for dealing with the Iranian threat.

In a Friday morning interview with 103 FM Radio, Yehezkeli emphasized that Iran is determined to become a nuclear power.

Yellen lends support for effort to remove the debt ceiling altogether

CNBC: With a potential default looming for the U.S. in October, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said Thursday she would just as soon see the power over debt limits taken away from Congress.

A bill introduced in May would repeal the national debt ceiling, and Yellen said “yes, I would” when asked during a House hearing if she backs the effort.

“For the Lord your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.” Deut. 15:6

She noted Congress makes the decisions on taxes and spending, and should provide the ability to pay those obligations.

“If to finance those spending and tax decisions, it’s necessary to issue additional debt, I believe it’s very disruptive to put the president and myself, the Treasury secretary, in a situation where we might be unable to pay the bills that result from those past decisions,” she said in response to a question from Rep. Defaulting on the Debt Is the Moral Thing to Do

Assessment: Raising the debt ceiling is presented as a moral choice. Do it, or you favor poverty and “calamity.” But here’s the problem with Yellen’s position—and the prodeficit position in general: she’s not actually offering a choice between pain now or pain never. It’s only a choice between pain now or even more pain in the future. 

Misses Institute: The US is in the midst of yet another “debate” over the debt ceiling. In the twenty-first century, this is a ritual that Washington politicos and journalists go through every few years when the prospect of default and government shutdown is used as a way to hold Americans hostage until they cave to a debt-ceiling hike. I won’t bore you with the details of which politicians are voting against a higher debt ceiling this time around. Outside a tiny handful of principled eccentrics of the Ron Paul variety, virtually everyone in Washington favors more deficit spending. The fact that the leadership from one of the parties currently pretends to oppose higher debt levels tells us nothing about what the regime really wants.

What it wants, of course, is sky-high spending, forever, and it wants to borrow huge amounts—at rock-bottom interest rates—to do it. A default—brought about by a stable debt ceiling—would complicate that goal. A failure to hike the debt would also limit the power of the regime, so we can expect most everyone inside the Beltway to be deeply opposed.

So, it was not exactly a surprise when Janet Yellen took to the pages of the Wall Street Journal earlier this month to call for an immediate increase to the debt ceiling. She doesn’t hold back when it comes to predicting sure and immediate doom if the debt ceiling is not increased.

Whistleblower: Biden Plans to Terminate Unvaccinated Border Patrol Agents

PJ Media: A whistleblower alleges that Border Patrol agents have received official notice that they must receive COVID-19 vaccines by November 2021 or face termination. The Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee sent a letter to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas demanding answers about the notification. It raises several key points.

Panama’s Foreign Minister: We Warned Biden About Haitian Migrant Crisis, 60,000 More Coming

Daily Wire: Panama foreign minister Erika Mouynes said during an interview this week that she warned the Biden administration about the Haitian migrant crisis that was headed to the U.S.-Mexico border that caused a humanitarian and national security crisis on the southern border, saying that Panama “sounded the alarm when we should have.”

“Mouynes said there are as many as 60,000 migrants — mostly Haitian — poised to make their way north to the U.S.-Mexico border,” Axios reported. “Panama is expecting more migrants to cross through the dangerous jungles of the Darién Gap this month than in all of 2019 — nearly 27,000.”

“Let’s recognize that they all are heading toward the U.S.,” Mouynes said in calling for the Biden administration to help deal with the crisis, which critics say is happening because of the magnet that the administration’s policies have created that incentivize illegal immigration. “We’ve engaged with every single authority that we can think of, that we can come across, to say, ‘Please, let’s pay attention to this.’”

Axios reported that Mouynes had multiple meetings this week with the Biden administration’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Milley Admits Telling Chinese Counterpart He’d ‘Probably’ Call Him if Attack Was Coming

Breitbart: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Army Gen. Mark Milley admitted Wednesday during a hearing that he told his Chinese counterpart he would give him a call if the United States were about to attack.

Rep. Vicky Hartzler (R-MO) grilled Milley during the House Armed Services Committee hearing on whether allegations in Bob Woodward and Robert Costa’s book were true that Milley had told his Chinese counterpart that he would notify him if the U.S. were about to attack ahead of the 2020 presidential election.

According to the book, Milley told Gen. Li Zuocheng, whom he had known for five years, during a “top secret, back-channel” phone call on October 30, 2020, to allay China’s alleged fears that Trump would attack China:
