Zero Hedge: JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon went scorched earth on President Biden’s tax plan, which would raise the current corporate tax rate from 21% to 28%, arguing that it would result in capital flight out of the United States.
“The tax increase is actually four times what the tax decrease was from 2017,” Dimon said during a Thursday virtual hearing before the US House Committee on Financial Services. “You all know the phrase the devil is in the details, well the details here are all that matter, not the top line of 28%.”
Israel 365: A recent video from the al-Qassam Brigades (Hamas’ military wing) shows them digging up water pipes in Gaza and using them to manufacture rockets to be fired at Israeli cities. This comes at a time when Gazans are already suffering water shortages and though the US has pledged to help rebuild the infrastructure of Gaza, the State Department admitted they are unsure that the humanitarian aid will not be usurped for terrorism.
It is believed the irrigation pipes were left behind when the Jews living in Gush Katif were forcibly removed in order to ethnically cleanse the region.
The video comes right after almost two weeks in which over 4,000 Hamas rockets were fired at Israel.
President Joe Biden is set to propose a $6 trillion budget on Friday, which would raise the level of federal spending to its highest sustained point since World War II, according to documents reported by The New York Times.
For the Lord your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you. Deut. 15:6
In the report, the Times notes that the budget would also run “deficits above $1.3 trillion throughout the next decade,” and that “Biden’s first budget request as president calls for the federal government to spend $6 trillion in the 2022 fiscal year, and for total spending to rise to $8.2 trillion by 2031.”
As federal spending skyrockets in response to the Democrats’ agenda regarding infrastructure and social benefits, the Times noted that “the United States would run significant deficits as it borrows money to finance his plans.”
“Under Mr. Biden’s proposal, the federal budget deficit would hit $1.8 trillion in 2022, even as the economy rebounds from the pandemic Read More
Israel 365: As a wave of antisemitic attacks against Jews across America by Hamas supporters, a top official of president Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign tweeted that Jews should remove items that identify them publicly as Jews. This includes kippot (yarmulkes) or Stars of David if they are afraid of those who are threatening them.
Aaron Keyak, whose Twitter and LinkedIn bio claims that he “led Jewish engagement for the Biden-Harris campaign and transition,” tweeted, “It pains me to say this, but if you fear for your physical safety take off your kippah and hide your magen david. Obviously, if you can, ask your rabbi first.”
He also said that: “It’s important that those who wear kippot don’t feel more pressure to put our lives in unnecessary actual danger —
Numerous pieces of US legislation limit US aid to the Palestinian Authority:
The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2016 limited US aid to the PA by deducting an amount equivalent to the PA payments to terrorist prisoners and the families of dead terrorists from the annual allocation.
The Taylor Force Act, 2018 limited all US aid to the PA given via the Economic Support Fund, until the PA completely abolishes its terror reward payments and meets other conditions.
The Anti-terrorism Clarification Act, 2018 forced the PA to choose between supporting terror or receiving US aid. The PA chose terror support.
The Anti-Terrorism Act, 1987, inter alia, designated the PLO as a terror organization and consequently limits the use of US aid given to the PA.
The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014 also limited US Economic Support Fund aid, if the PA initiates or actively supports an ICC investigation against Israel. The PA has initiated such an investigation and is actively supporting it.
The Palestinian Anti-Terrorism Act, 2006 would limit US aid to the PA if any PA government were to include members or representatives of the terror organization Hamas.
US aid to UNRWA is not limited by US law.
United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced yesterday on his Twitter account that “The U.S. is providing more than $360 million of urgent support for the Palestinian people. We will galvanize the international community to make more aid available for humanitarian and development efforts.” [Twitter, May 26, 2021]
The announcement follows the April 7, 2021 decision of United States President Joe Biden to renew US aid to the Palestinians – in the amount of $235 million for financial year 2021. Read More
JPost: The United Nations Human Rights Council is set to vote Thursday on a resolution that would call for an arms embargo against Israel and would create a permanent fact finding commission to investigate it for war crimes against Palestinians.
“And I will curse him who curses you” Genesis 12:3
If approved at Thursday “special session” the 47-member UNHRC the “commission of inquiry’ would begin looking at incidents that occurred both before and after April 13, 2021. The decision to call for such a probe was sparked by the 11-day IDF-Hamas war and was submitted by the Palestinian Authority and Pakistan on behalf of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
It would mark the first time that the UNHRC created a permanent fact-finding mission with respect to any UN member state.
The UNHRC already calls annually for an arms embargo against Israel. Its insertion is in addition to that annual text. Read More
Breitbart: Jewish House Democrats sent a letter urging President Joe Biden to appoint a “United States Ambassador-at-Large to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism” and condemning the comments made by their House colleagues.
““Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age …” Matthew 24:3
Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ), Rep. Elaine Luria (D-VA), and Kathy Manning (D-NC) all signed onto the letter, first obtained by Punchbowl News, saying they are “deeply disturbed by the recent surge of antisemitic incidents in the United States.
The group of Democrats said they believe there needs to be a united front in order to “combat rising antisemitism in this country.” The Democrats explained, surge in the last few weeks all over the United States, “including attacks on Jewish Americans in New York, California, and Florida.”
The Jewish House Democrats said:
In Times Square, a group yelling antisemitic slurs viciously beat, kicked, and pepper-sprayed an unsuspecting Jewish man. In Los Angeles, a caravan of pro-Palestinian protestors descended on a restaurant in West Hollywood, demanding to know “who’s Jewish?” before unleashing a violent attack on diners while yelling antisemitic slurs. In Bal Harbour, a Jewish family visiting from New Jersey, was harassed by four men in an SUV shouting, “Free Palestine, f— you Jew, die Jew.” In Tucson, Arizona, an individual threw a rock through a glass window, vandalizing Congregation Chaverim. Jews across the United States are facing an extraordinarily tense environment of fear and insecurity. Read More

Israel 365: The wave of violent pro-Palestine protests sweeping the nation is showing no signs of slowing down. Israel365 News is closely tracking upcoming rallies and has discovered over two dozen potentially violent pro-Palestinian protests in major cities throughout the United States are scheduled to take place in the next few days, through the end of May alone.
“Will I not in that day,” says the Lord, “Even destroy the wise men from Edom” Obadiah 1:8
Samidoun, a ‘Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network’ with ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization, has put out a statement on their site calling on supporters of ‘Palestinians’ worldwide to “escalate their organizing and struggle to confront massacres and ethnic cleansing and support Palestinian resistance!”
That escalation appears to be manifesting itself in several violent pro-Palestinian riots throughout the United States that many in the Jewish community fear will only become even more violent. “It’s only going to get worse.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced this week he would opt out of Biden’s boosted unemployment benefits
‘Transitioning away from this benefit will help meet the demands of small and large businesses who are ready to hire and expand their workforce,’ Florida’s Department of Economic Opportunity Secretary Dane Eagle said
“The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.” Proverbs 23:4 ESV
The new announcement makes 23 Republican-run states that won’t accept the $300 weekly payment from federal government to their jobless constituents
Governors say money is disincentivizing people to get a job when they can make the same collecting benefits
Experts claim those who made $32,000 before the pandemic can now make the same – or more – with combined benefits from state and federal government, encouraging people to stay home
‘Our economy has come back, we have jobs aplenty,’ Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson said. ‘We cannot pay extra compensations for workers to stay home’
President Joe Biden said in remarks earlier in May he did not ‘see much evidence’ the benefit encouraged people to stay unemployed
