Israel 365: During his trip to Israel, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken made many remarks that showed a disturbing level of cognitive dissonance, describing a political perspective that contradicted the events taking place around him.

Blinken gave a speech after meeting with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on Sunday. The US diplomat’s mind was elsewhere as he opened his speech by describing the dire situation in Ukraine.

He then moved on to emphasize his commitment to the “two-solution” which would address “some of the challenges facing Palestinians”. A “two-state solution” would create an unprecedented Arab state within Israel’s borders that has been ethnically cleansed of Jews with its capital in an exclusively Muslim Jerusalem. Patterned after Gaza, this would increase the mandate of the armed Palestinian Police.

Blinken noted that the Biden administration is strengthening its ties with the Palestinian Authority towards this end, notably by increasing funding to the PA by half a billion dollars since April 2021.

It should be noted that one month after this aid began, over 4,600 rockets were fired at Israel from Gaza and Israeli Arabs carried out vicious riots and attacks inside Israel. Read More …

Opinion: After enduring another round of ‘ironclad unbreakable bond’ comments by Secretary Blinken in the above video, we are reminded that when a diplomat begins with platitudes, bad news follows.

And indeed, it did …

Secretary Blinken re-emphasized the need for the “two-state solution” complete with a Palestinian capital in East Jerusalem, the location of the holiest site in Judaism, the Temple Mount.

Secretary Blinken used the old Obama/Kerry ‘moral equivalence’ trick that suggests that both sides are equally responsible for violence, despite the fact that there were 902 Arab terrorist attacks on Israelis in the period between March 2021 and September 2021.

Secretary Blinken: “Today, we also discussed ways to foster a peaceful Passover, Ramadan and Easter across Israel, Gaza and the West Bank, particularly in Jerusalem, a city of such profound importance to Jews, to Christians, to Muslims. And that means working to prevent actions on all sides that could raise tensions, including settlement expansion, settler violence, incitement to violence, demolitions, payments to individuals convicted of terrorism, evictions of families from homes they’ve lived in for decades.”

No more Mr. Nice Guy.

Secretary Blinken then lowered the boom on Israel by announcing increased ties with Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority henchman by increasing US aid by $500 million over and above the $235 million given in 2021, when President Biden restored yearly aid that had been cancelled by President Trump.

Let’s be clear. The extra $500 million in funding will be used to increase salaries to Arab terrorists (and families) that kill Jews, and to line the pockets of Arab leaders.

  • Mahmoud Abbas unelected PA president since 2005 – net worth $100 million
  • Ismail Haniyeh senior political leader of Hamas terror group – net worth $1.5 billion

Remind me again, what did God say about cursing people and nations that curse Israel?

“I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
