Catholic Church Still Doesn’t Know What to Do With Priests Who Abuse Kids

PJ Media: An investigation by the Associated Press has found that there are 1700 Roman Catholic priests and clergy who the church believes has been credibly accused of sexual abuse are living on the outside largely unsupervised and unwatched by church officials or law enforcement.

These priests, deacons, monks and lay people now teach middle-school math. They counsel survivors of sexual assault. They work as nurses and volunteer at nonprofits aimed at helping at-risk kids. They live next to playgrounds and daycare centers. They foster and care for children.

And in their time since leaving the church, dozens have committed crimes, including sexual assault and possessing child pornography, the AP’s analysis found.

Since most of those credibly abused are no longer priests, the church says their hands are tied. more …

Opinion: The Catholic faithful have been confused and confounded in recent years, governed by a man who says “even atheists will be saved“, asks “Who am I to judge?” regarding homosexuals and calling Islam a ‘religion of peace’. The church has failed to rid its self of horrific men who prey on children under the auspices of moral authority, and is  on the verge of a schism not seen since 1054 AD.

Pope Francis has defined his papacy by three leftist objectives: climate alarm-ism, open borders and most recently through contracts with Muslim leaders that culminate in 2020 with an ecumenical outreach for global religion under the direction of Rome.

To ensure Francis’ globalist ideology continues, he has appointed 85 new Cardinals (including 13 on Saturday here ), 45 new bishops, and has signed two compacts with world leaders with a third one coming:

  • Global Compact for Immigration – December 7, 2018
  • A Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace with Muslim Sheik Ahmad el-Tayeb – February 4, 2019
  • Global Pact for New Humanism – May 14, 2020

According to a Vatican statement issued on Thursday, Sept. 12, the Pope is inviting representatives of the main religions, international organizations and various humanitarian institutions, as well as key figures from the world of politics, economics and academia, and prominent athletes, scientists and sociologists to sign a “Global Pact on Education” so as to “hand on to younger generations a united and fraternal common home.”

The final 4 churches that Jesus judged in Revelation 2 and 3 are all in existence today:

  • Thyatira (means continual sacrifice) is the Catholic Church
  • Sardis (means remnant) represents denominational protestants
  • Philadelphia (means brotherly love) is the Evangelical Church
  • Laodicea (means people rule) is the apostate church

When the rapture comes, believers (Ephesians 2:8-9) from all four churches will disappear (1 Thess. 4:16-17) and only the apostates will be left behind.

“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” Revelation 3:15-16
