Opinion: I’m not sure to what the coronavirus can be compared. The disease is not yet considered a pandemic and the accuracy of death tolls subject to much speculation, but some Bible believers an even non-Bible believers are talking apocalypse and end of the world.
Maybe it is because the world is closing in on the final days of this age. And just maybe it is an opportunity to share the gospel with those close to us who have so far rejected the pardon that Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross provides.
“For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul” Leviticus 17:11.
“And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission” Hebrews 9:22.
