Earth Worship And Climate Confessions

Daily Wire: Gaianism is alive and well in what we call Western civilization. In advance of the United Nations Climate Action Summit on Sept. 23, leftists are actively practicing their faith. Man has despoiled the Earth and now must … confess to the Earth.

Think we’re exaggerating?

“On Sept. 17, New York’s Union Theological Seminary, a progressive Christian adjunct to Columbia University, put out a tweet that many people must have assumed was a satire from the religion pranksters at The Babylon Bee. “Today in chapel, we confessed to plants,” it began. “Together, we held our grief, joy, regret, hope, guilt and sorrow in prayer; offering them to the beings who sustain us but whose gift we too often fail to honor.” Then they asked for an Amen: “What do you confess to the plants in your life?” more …

Opinion: “They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. Romans 1:25

I once heard a Bible teacher say if he were forced to spend the rest of his life on a deserted island and was allowed only one book of the Bible he would choose Romans.

How appropriate Romans 1:25 is for today. Progressives and Leftists with no God in their lives fill the section of their soul reserved for Him with causes. It really doesn’t matter if the cause is vetted or valid, it is a cause celebre, and it is the perfect immeasurable plank in a globalist platform.

With that in mind, another UN Climate Change Summit begins today, September 21 with the “YOUTH CLIMATE SUMMIT” …

The Youth Climate Summit — the first UN climate summit for young people — will provide a platform for young leaders to showcase their solutions and meaningfully engage with decision-makers. This historic event will take place as part of a weekend of events leading up to the UN Secretary-General’s Climate Action Summit on 23 September. The Youth Climate Summit will feature a full-day programme bringing together young activists, innovators, entrepreneurs, and change-makers who are committed to addressing the global climate emergency. It will be action-oriented, intergenerational, and inclusive, with equal representation of young leaders from all walks of life.

And ends Monday with the “UN CLIMATE ACTION SUMMIT”.

“Climate change is the defining issue of our time and now is the defining moment to do something about it. There is still time to tackle climate change, but it will require an unprecedented effort from all sectors of society. To boost ambition and accelerate actions to implement the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, UN Secretary-General António Guterres is asking leaders, from government, business and civil society, to come to the 2019 Climate Action Summit on 23 September with plans to address the global climate emergency. The Summit will spark the transformation that is urgently needed and propel action that will benefit everyone.”

The main beneficiary of the summit is China, who will gleefully continue with their 2030 exemption from the Paris Summit allowing them to build 300-500 coal plants between now and 2030, with the full cooperation of the UN. The US and capitalism, however, will be vilified and condemned.
