Breaking Israel News: In the aftermath of Israel approving immigration flights from Ethiopia, the first group of 80 Ethiopian newcomers will arrive on Monday evening on flights organized by the Jewish Agency and funded by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ).
Israel has not offered the Falash Mura citizenship per the Law of Return due to the group’s members being compelled to convert to Christianity in the 19th century, despite closely preserving Jewish traditions.
Nonetheless, the Israeli government unanimously approved a process in 2015 to allow those deemed eligible to reunite with their families in Israel under humanitarian conditions.
This nearly stopped in 2018. However, Israel’s cabinet gave the green light last October to permit another 1,000 Ethiopian immigrants and, as requested by the Jewish Agency, the ICEJ agreed to fund their flights throughout 2019. more …
Opinion: Prophecy in process of fulfillment:
“From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia
The daughter of My dispersed ones,
Shall bring My offering” Zephaniah 3:10.
Go ahead and be amazed. We have been posting (here, here, here) the Ethiopia aliyah for years, and I get amazed each time. God is bringing His chosen back to the land to protect them for the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7).
Ethiopia is one of the Gog and Magog (Ez.38:5 NIV) nations that Ezekiel called Cush, the name of the eldest son of Noah’s son Ham, who settled in the area of Ethiopia, Sudan and Somalia.
Cush and Put (Libyia) will join Russia, Iran and Turkey (Ezekiel 38:1-6) to invade Israel to take its great wealth (Ez. 36:12), and God will bring judgment on each nation in the alliance.
Ezekiel 39:4: “On the mountains of Israel you will fall, you and all your troops and the nations with you. I will give you as food to all kinds of carrion birds and to the wild animals.”
And in Ezekiel 39:6 God’s judgment is administered on the invading nations’ homelands:
“I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in safety in the coastlands, and they will know that I am the Lord”.
The Diaspora (scattering) of the Jewish people that began in 70 AD is coming to an end. Ezekiel 39:28 prophesied that the whole house of Jacob will hear God’s call to come home ‘leaving none behind’.
There are so many prophecies in the process of being fulfilled that we Bible students need to keep a careful watch so we don’t miss them.
