Jordanian Waqf Continues Desecration of Temple Mount

Jewish Press: The Jordanian Waqf in charge of the Temple Mount compound is continuing its desecration of the sacred site, the In Our Hands – Returning to the Temple Mount Foundation (“Beyadenu”) organization reported Wednesday.

Visitors to the Mount were witness to the latest sacrilege, with a garbage truck dumping its load near the site believed to be that of the Jewish Holy Temple’s Holy of Holies and filmed a video of the desecration.

“Following Beyadenu activists’ exposure that antiquities and stones in the compound are being discarded, now they expose a new and dangerous phenomenon where garbage trucks unload the waste they carry around the site in the exact spot considered the holiest in Judaism, in front of where the Temples stood,” said Beyadenu head Tom Nisani.

“Videos from last week and from this morning show a number of vehicles committing these acts, without any supervision or protection of the holy places from the side of the State of Israel,” Nisani said. Read More  …

Opinion: Timeline for the end of the desecration of the Temple Mount:

  • Nearing the end of WWI, on November 2, 1917, the Balfour Declaration of British support for the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people on both sides of the Jordan River, was signed
  • 1918-19: After the end of the war, the Middle East lands of the Ottoman Empire were to be divided up among the allies
  • In 1921 after constant haranguing from the Arabs, Winston Churchill  “with the stroke of a pen” created the British mandate of Transjordan
  • In 1922 The League of nations awarded Arabs Transjordan as a home for Arab people that was thought by Britain to be a solution to the blood feud, but was not …

It was not the appointed time.

Fast Forward 1967:

It is important to review how it is that that Jordan, who was one of the invaders along with Syria and Egypt in the 1967 war to wipe out the Jewish state, became custodian of the Temple Mount.

The war was over in 6 days’ A stunned world watched in disbelief as Israeli soldiers took control the Temple Mount for the first time since the destruction of the 2nd Temple in 70 AD.

It was a secular Jewish General named Moshe Dayan fearing fighting would never stop, who handed the Temple Mount to the Jordanian Waqf after the miraculous Israeli victory. In what was thought to have been the end of the Arab/Israeli blood feud over the promised land was not.

It was still not the appointed time.

That appointed time will not come until the end of the third and final World War ending 7 years of tribulation …

And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
Which faces Jerusalem on the east.
And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
From east to west,
Making a very large valley;
Half of the mountain shall move toward the north
And half of it toward the south.”
Zechariah 14:4

… when Jesus Messiah rules and reigns from the Temple Mount for 1000 years the desecration will stop.

Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.” Revelation 20:1-2
