Ken Timmerman; 20 years after the Iraq war: Are we stronger today??

Dear RC,

This week marks the 20th anniversary of the 2nd Gulf war. Detractors speak of the invasion of Iraq. I have always looked at it as the liberation, as do many Iraqis.

But most Americans have been taught a history of lies, a history forged by left-wing political activists and their allies in the media and rarely contradicted by those who knew the truth.

Karl Rove admitted in a 2010 oped that his “biggest mistake” in the Bush White House was not pushing back on those lies – and specifically, not correcting the historical record about weapons of mass destruction.

Yes, Virginia: the U.S. found WMD components, raw materials, factories, and ongoing research programs in Iraq after the war – just not “stockpiles” of compiled weapons.

You can agree or disagree with the decision to take out Saddam. But to form an opinion, you need to know the facts. I set them out in a column earlier this week at FrontPage mag.

People also forget that Saddam himself was a weapon of mass destruction, and murdered 5,000 Kurdish civilians in Halabja 35 years ago this week, and more than 100,000 Kurds in the ensuing Anfal campaign.

The Biden administration has greatly diminished America’s military deterrence, as well as our ability to wage war. Nations no longer fear us, or fear the long-arm of U.S. political determination.

Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you.’ Ezekiel 38:5-6

On Thursday, General Erik Kurilla, the commander of U.S. Central Command, told Congress that the Iranians have attacked U.S. bases in Syria 78 times since Biden took office – this after an Iranian drone killed a U.S. contractor in Syria and wounded five more. He also noted that Iran today has “exponentially” more military capability than just five years ago, when Trump’s “maximum pressure” campaign of sanctions had crippled the Iranian economy.

In my weekly segment on Prophecy Today Weekend I discuss our diminished deterrent capability, and how the current administration has ceded leadership in the Middle East to China, of all countries. (It was China, after all, that brokered the Saudi-Iranian rapprochement two weeks ago,) We also discuss Iranian preparations to launch a world-wide terror campaign against Israeli and American targets should Israel launch military strikes against Iranian nuclear weapons facilities.

As always, you can listen live at 1:05 PM on the dot on Jacksonville’s Way Radio at 104.9 FM or 550 AM, or using the Way Radio app. If you miss it, you can listen to the podcast later on.

Yours in freedom,

  1. RC and Ken, as usual your analysis and understanding of this is exemplary. Much of the reason our country as well as our military is being laughed at today is we have a president in the oval office and his administration that absolutely is living by literally Isaiah chapter 5 the woe scriptures trading light for dark sweet for bitter, bitter for sweet calling good evil and evil good which is obvious, you see it everyday and hear of it everyday out of him, having said that considering Israel’s impending attack on Iran, I did read RC putting in there Ezekiel 38 versus 5 and 6, ken you stated that Iran is preparing to strike Israeli and American targets worldwide if Israel does indeed attack Iran to stop their nuclear program, considering the stage is being set right now for not only ezekiel’s war as mentioned in chapter 38 but also the great seven year tribulation period, so do consider this, suppose Israel when they do attack Iran to stop their nuclear program, is it conceivable that that very act could precipitate ezekiel’s war as mentioned in chapter 38? And then after that the rise to power of the Antichrist and he signs the peace treaty with Israel and its enemies, so before that how close then is the rapture of the church. And RC keeping track of the financial prophetic things going on today, it really makes you wonder how close is the rapture of the church considering ezekiel’s war, and the stage setting of the great seven year tribulation. Happening simultaneously the stage setting of it that is. This topic would be very beneficial for everyone if it were to be explored by prophecy tracker and prophecy today radio so that people would be well informed and watchful so that they may lead others to Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. So please do consider this as time is definitely running short, running out.
