Jerusalem Online: US President Donald Trump’s Deal of the Century includes the creation of “New Palestine” , the Lebanese Al Mayadeen TV channel reported on Monday.
According to documents allegedly obtained by Al Mayadeen on Monday, a trilateral agreement would be presented by the U.S to Israel, Hamas and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).
Under the deal, a new state named “New Palestine” will be created in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, except for the territories already owned by Israel. Jerusalem will be shared by Israel and “New Palestine”.
According to the report, the project has already been approved by the United States, the European Union and Persian Gulf states, according to Al Mayadeen. The countries are expected to allocate about $30 billion in the next five years for the creation of the new state.
Only police will be allowed to bear arms in “New Palestine”, and Israel will protect the new state against foreign aggression, provided that “New Palestine” pays Israel for such protection, Al Mayadeen reported. Hamas will be fully disarmed, but its members will receive monthly salaries.
One would think they would at least be curious. Let’s take a look at the Book:
“Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering …” Daniel 9:27.
The he in the passage is Antichrist who confirms (not creates) a peace treaty allowing a temple for sacrifice, which immediately throws the rumored deal into trouble. Daniel’s treaty will have a 7 year (week of years) duration like the 1991 Oslo Accords, perhaps re-drafted.
The 7 year duration is critical because it lines up with Daniel’s 70 weeks (490/360 day years) prophecy found in Daniel 9:24-26. In those two passages are found a precise timeline beginning with an edict given in 445 BC by the king of Persia to allow the walls of Jerusalem to be rebuilt, to the time Messiah rides into Jerusalem on a colt, to the end of the final 7 year tribulation and the 2nd coming of Messiah Jesus.
In simple terms the prophecy is still in effect.
v. 24 “Seventy weeks (490 years, Hebrew for weeks is shabua, 1 week = 7 years) are determined for your people (Jews) and for your holy city (Jerusalem),
To finish the transgression, (death of Jesus)
To make an end of sins, (Kingdom age)
To make reconciliation for iniquity,
To bring in everlasting righteousness (Millennial Reign),
To seal up vision and prophecy,
And to anoint the Most Holy (Messiah).”
v. 25 “Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem (decree of Artaxerxes in 445 BC), Until Messiah the Prince (First Coming of Jesus), There shall be seven weeks (49 years) and sixty-two weeks (434 years); The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in troublesome times.”
- 7 weeks (49 years rebuilding Jerusalem)
- PLUS 62 weeks (434 years First Coming of Messiah)
- EQUALS 69 weeks (483 years = Triumphant entry into Jerusalem)
v. 26 “And after the sixty-two weeks (49 + 434 = 483 years) Messiah shall be cut off (crucified in 32 AD), but not for Himself; And the people (Roman empire) of the prince (Antichrist) who is to come, shall destroy the city (Jerusalem) and the sanctuary (Temple).”
Daniel’s 70th week is still to come and no other deal will bring peace to Israel.
