French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday urged Israel to complete swiftly investigations into the death of a Palestinian journalist killed last week during an Israeli operation against terrorists in Jenin.
Veteran Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh was shot dead on Wednesday.
“The president said that he was moved by the death of Shireen Abu Akleh and reiterated France’s position that a rapid conclusion of the investigation was needed,” the French president’s office said following a telephone call between Macron and Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.
Israel and the Palestinians are conducting separate probes of her death and both remain at loggerheads over the fatal shooting.
The Palestinians accuse Israel of assassinating her and have called for an international response. Israel has denied targeting her, saying she may have been shot accidentally by a soldier or by a Palestinian gunman as they exchanged fire.
The Elysee said that Macron had also expressed concern about Israel’s recent decision to press ahead with more than 4,000 new homes in Judea and Samaria. Read More …
Opinion: “And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” Luke 21:24
Can you imagine Israel’s prime minister calling the President of France to pressure him about the death of a reporter that was shot while covering a riot in France? And then pressuring the French president to refrain from building homes in France for French immigrants?
Neither can I.
But that is what goes on in Israel nearly every day. Gentile leaders like Emmanuel (god with us) Macron, are fulfilling Luke’s prophecy that will come to a very abrupt end when the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
The times of the Gentiles began with the reign of Babylon’s King Nebuchadnezzar (600 BC), and will end at the 2nd coming of Messiah Jesus.
When a nation is dominated by an outside force it becomes fair game for despots, murderers, and evil rulers. In the same way that Muhammad brought his religion to the Jews of Saudi Arabia, a new leader will lure the Jews with a temple and animal sacrifice that will be short lived (Daniel 9:27).
After 3.5 years have passed, the new leader, Antichrist, will demand worship from the Jews. When the they fefuse he will set to finish what Muhammad and Hitler started.
Matthew 24:15-16
“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.”
A four hour drive from Jerusalem is the mountains of Petra in Southern Jordan, former abode of Esau. Once there, the Jews will be protected from Antichrist until the end of the tribulation:
He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom (southern Jordan), Moab (Middle Jordan), and the [a]prominent people of Ammon (Northern Jordan)” Daniel 11:41
