JPost: The Palestinian Authority on Sunday rejected Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s remarks that all decisions regarding the Haram a-Sharif (Temple Mount) and Jerusalem would be made by the government of Israel.
“These statements are misleading and incorrect, as evidenced by the continuous incursions into the Aqsa Mosque and the restrictions on worshipers in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher during the recent holiday celebrations,” said PA presidential spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudaineh, according to a statement published by the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
“East Jerusalem, with its Islamic and Christian holy sites, is the eternal capital of the State of Palestine in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions, the latest of which was Resolution No. 2334, which affirmed that East Jerusalem is an integral part of the occupied Palestinian territories, and that all forms of settlement are illegal in all Palestinian territories,” Abu Rudaineh said. Opinion: The statements made by Abu Rudaineh of the PA are an example of what happens when a big lie is told often enough, and it is accepted by world leaders.
For the record: There is no state of Palestine and there is no ancient people group called Palestinians. Both lies were formulated in the demented mind of Yasser Arafat, one of the most virulent Jew killers of the 20th century.

“And the Lord said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.” Genesis 25:23
The two nations in perpetual turmoil over a birthright (Genesis 25:29-34) to the land of promise:
- One nation came from Jacob, whom God renamed Israel (Genesis 35:10)
- One nation came from Esau whom God called Edom (Genesis 36:1)
What makes this so difficult for the world to understand is that while it is not hard to spot Jacob’s descendants, few can spot the descendants of Esau despite the fact that both tribes are back in the land fighting the same conflict.
- Edom was there to antagonize King David 1 Sam. 30:9-25
- Edom helped the Babylonians destroy the 1st Temple Obadiah 1:14
- Edom was there when Christ was betrayed Matthew 26:47-49
- Edom’s grandson Amalek will try to kill Jacob in every generation Exodus 17:16
- Edom will be there at the second coming of Messiah Isaiah 63:1-3
Abu Rudaineh’s use of UN Resolution 2334 as evidence of the legitimacy of Edom’s claim to the land is equally dishonest and fits perfectly into the big lie picture. It was Barack Obama’s UN Secretary Samantha Power who abstained in December 2016 in UN Security Council vote that stunned the world:
- That Israel′s settlement activity constitutes a “flagrant violation” of international law and has “no legal validity”
- It further demands that Israel stop such activity and fulfill its obligations as an occupying power under the Fourth Geneva Convention
By allowing Resolution 2334 to pass, Barack Obama planted the seeds for the final conflict between Jacob and Esau as foretold in Psalm 83 where Edom and Amalek are mentioned by name.
I said earlier that both Jacob and Esau are back in the land fighting over the same conflict. The final prophet of the OT foretold God’s ‘indignation‘ on the matter:
“Even though Edom has said,
“We have been impoverished,
But we will return and build the desolate places,”
Thus says the Lord of hosts:
“They may build, but I will throw down;
They shall be called the Territory of Wickedness,
And the people against whom the Lord will have indignation forever.
5 Your eyes shall see,
And you shall say,
‘The Lord is magnified beyond the border of Israel.” Malachi 1:4-5
