Jihad Watch: The Pope lives in a walled city within Rome. Will he tear down those walls? How many Muslim migrants has the Vatican taken in? Or is it the poor and disenfranchised of Rome and Italy in general who must pay the price for this man’s virtue signaling?
Pope Francis has repeatedly branded those who oppose mass Muslim migration into Europe as un-Christian. He seems to be completely unconcerned about facts such as the following: all of the jihadis who murdered 130 people in Paris in November 2015 had just entered Europe as refugees. In February 2015, the Islamic State boasted it would soon flood Europe with as many as 500,000 refugees.
The Lebanese Education Minister said in September 2015 that there were 20,000 jihadis among the refugees in camps in his country. On May 10, 2016, Patrick Calvar, the head of France’s DGSI internal intelligence agency, said that the Islamic State was using migrant routes through the Balkans to get jihadis into Europe.
Pope Francis has never expressed any concern about any of this. more …
Opinion: And the bishops are after the president:
- Bishop Joe Vasquez, U.S. Bishops’ Committee on Migration chair “We believe that now more than ever, welcoming newcomers and refugees is an act of love and hope.”
- San Diego Bishop Robert McElroy told about 650 participants at the World Meeting of Popular Movements they they must “all become disruptors”
- Chicago Cardinal Blasé Cupich, a Pope Francis-appointee, referred to Trump’s travel ban as “a dark moment in U.S. history.”
Follow the money: Life Site News:
“April 11, 2017: “in Fiscal Year 2016, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) received more than $91 million in government funding for refugee resettlement. Over the past nine years, the USCCB has received a total of $534,788,660 in taxpayer dollars for refugee resettlement programs, reported Ann Corcoran, editor of Refugee Resettlement Watch”.
From a prophetic view Francis is embracing Islamic clerics because they want control of Jerusalem almost as much as he does:
“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem” Zechariah 12:2.
