LifeSite News: Pope Francis has again written a letter to a Catholic nun who openly defies Church teaching on sexuality, praising her for her “50 years of ministry,” which has been mostly devoted to promoting the normalization of homosexuality within the Church.

Jesuit publication/America Magazine wrote:
In another sign of support for L.G.B.T. Catholics and those who advocate on their behalf, Pope Francis sent a handwritten letter on Dec. 10 to Jeannine Gramick, S.L., the co-founder of the Catholic apostolate New Ways Ministry.
Sister Gramick is celebrating 50 years of working with and advocating for L.G.B.T. people. Noting her anniversary as the reason for his letter, the pope congratulated her in Spanish on “50 years of closeness, of compassion and of tenderness” in a ministry that he described as being in “‘the style’ of God.”
“Thank you, Sister Jeannine,” wrote the Pope at the conclusion of his note, “for all your closeness, compassion and tenderness.”
Gramick was officially silenced by the Vatican in 1999, an order which she ignored; in 2010 the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) declared that New Ways Ministry “has no approval or recognition from the Catholic Church” to speak on the LGBT issue. Read More …

| 2357 Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.” They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved. |
In several opinion pieces, and to some criticism, I have put forth that Pope Francis, the first Jesuit pope, is forming a new religion. This new religion is carefully built on compassion and understanding, but whose ideology is neither Roman Catholic nor Protestant, and is a million miles from Evangelicalism.
This new religion is leading Catholics and non-Catholics alike, to the progressive movement by accepting a new morality opposed to God’s original plan for His creation, and is laying the groundwork for the final church of Revelation 3:14-16.
“And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write,
‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: 15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”
That Pope Francis is 85 and in declining health does not make him an ideal candidate to lead the Laodicean church, but in similar fashion to John the Baptist heralding the coming Christ, Francis could be paving the way for the prophesied False Prophet.
“Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.” Rev. 13:11
It is this religious leader who operates with great authority:
“And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.” Rev. 13:12
It is this religious leader who is granted great powers:
“He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.” Rev. 13:13
It is this religious leader who forces followers to make an image of the beast who staged a false assassination/resurrection (Rev. 13:4):
“And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.” Rev. 13:14
It is this religious leader who forces worship of the final Antichrist:
“He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed” Rev. 13:15
And it is this religious leader who takes control of the global economy:
“He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has he mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Rev. 13:16-17
Some men will know who he is:
“Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.”
