i24: Officials said Israel is seeking to eradicate the terror networks responsible for the escalation.

Israel on Wednesday ruled out mediated talks with Hamas and other Gaza-based terror groups, which are apparently seeking a truce to end the latest deadly escalation, unnamed Israeli officials told local media.

Opinion: Three wars are prophesied to take place either early in the tribulation or just before it begins.

Current events in Israel indicate that the first pf the three, Psalm 83, could have already started. It is an important war because not one of Israel’s neighbors are capable of joining in on the second war.

The Temple priest Asaph implores God to remember Israel’s past victories:

Deal with them as with Midian,
As with Sisera,
As with Jabin at the Brook Kishon,
10 Who perished at En Dor,
Who became as refuse on the earth.” Psalm 83:9-10

Asaph asks God to make the alliance like Oreb, Zeb, Zebah and Zalmnuna who were Midianite kings (Judges 7:25) slain by Gideon’s vastly outnumbered army.

11 Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb,
Yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
12 Who said, “Let us take for ourselves
The pastures of God for a possession.” Psalm 83:11-12

The last verse, “Let us take for ourselves the pastures of God for a possession” is a clear reference to Edom’s squandered birthright (Genesis 25:29-34), his return in the last days to take back the land (Malachi 1:4), and Jacob’s rightful possession (Genesis 27:28-29).

With Iran’s proxies eradicated, the next war on the Bible’s calendar, Gog Magog, will find Iranian troop on the ground in Israel along with with Russia, Turkey and four North African armies.
