Sen. Graham: Tlaib, Omar Are Right, We Should Change US Aid to Israel – Upward

Jewish Press: Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Tuesday tweeted that, in response to Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar’s call to reconsider US aid to Israel, he has reconsidered and come to the conclusion that “it’s time to provide MORE assistance to Israel for their missile defense program.”

As you may recall, the 2016 aid agreement cobbled in the final days of the Obama administration included a bump to $3.8 billion a year (from roughly $3 billion), but as part of the deal Israel had to commit not to solicit additional grants from Congress.

Those off-aid grants, which came to about half a billion a year, went to the US-Israel collaboration on Iron Dome and later, longer range missile defense systems. Graham was likely referring to the need to revive those grants. more …

Opinion: Senator Graham has been a staunch supporter of Israel. His thought of reviving grants for Israel’s protection from an increasingly hostile US Congress is a great idea. It will bless our nation (Genesis 12:3), but according to Bible prophecy, it will be unnecessary.

Israel has a Protector for such a time as this (Esther 4:14). His name is God Almighty and He never slumbers or sleeps (Psalm 121:4).

There are 3 prophesied wars between now and the second coming of Messiah.

  • The first (Psalm 83), will end the Arab/Islamic threat
  • The second (Ezekiel 38-39) will end the Russia/Turkey/Iran/North Africa threat
  • The third (Daniel 11:40-45) will end all threats

The blessing of Jacob (Genesis 27:28-29) will be fulfilled:

“Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.” Zechariah 8:23

Those days refers to the 1000 year reign of Jesus Messiah on earth (Revelation 20:1-2).
