Infowars: What could they possibly be getting ready for?

“Wealthy folks are beginning to understand: they don’t want to be the last ones sticking around when the party ends in the US.” Read More …

Opinion: News of the 1% building lavish doomsday bunkers has been around for a few years, in similar fashion to Post-Tribulation believers, with the exception that this group have converted garages.

The question is, what exactly do they fear?

If any of the 1% believe that the sacrifice Jesus Christ made on a cross in Calvary has provided a pardon for sins past, present, and future, they have nothing to fear and can enjoy a high-end camping trip, but will not be present when the tribulation starts (1 Cor. 15:51-52; 1 Thess. 1:10, 4:16-17, 5:9; Rev. 3:10).

That Post-Trib Christians are stocking their homes with survival gear is a great example of missing the context of Matthew 24 (Mark 13 and Luke 21). All three chapters are a warning of tribulation to Jews, not Christians. Want proof?

  • Matthew 24:13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”
  • Matthew 24:16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains”
  • Matthew 24:20  And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath”

It is in the mountains of southern Jordan, the former home of Esau, that Christ will save His people (Hab. 3:3; Isaiah 63:1-3; Zech. 12:10), the Jewish people.

The 7 years of tribulation prophesied in Revelation will kill off 1/2 of the global population  in the first 14 judgments. We are not told of the number of deaths in the most severe 7 ‘Bowl judgments’ to follow, but Ezekiel 13:8 prophesies that 2/3rds of the world’s Jews will perish in the 7 years.
