Answers in Genesis, Ken Ham: What happens when man becomes his own god? It’s exactly what is described in this article: the devaluing of human life, as certain individuals set themselves up as their own gods to decide who lives and who dies.
Reporting on a sad court decision in the Netherlands, the article I linked to above states, “In other words, we are heading towards a summary, legal, and formal execution.”
What do they mean by this? Well, “doctors are now allowed to introduce a sedative without the knowledge of their patients and without their consent before euthanizing them, if there is a risk that the patient will ‘become agitated’ at the moment of carrying out the action that should end his life.” In other words, doctors are allowed to execute—murder—their patients and “it is no longer necessary for the doctor to agree with the patient when or how euthanasia will be administered” if the patient has dementia or a similar medical condition.

Opinion: Most Christians, when asked what people group represent a culture of death would probably answer Muslims. It would be unthinkable to answer US citizens (including several denominations of Christians), but according to Pew Research 2016 that is the case.
Gallup poll May 31, 2018 (here)
Americans’ Strong Support for Euthanasia Persists
- 72% say doctors should be able to help terminally ill patients die
- 65% express support when the question includes “commit suicide”
- 54% think doctor-assisted suicide is morally acceptable
- 37% of church-going Christians think doctors should be allowed by law to end the patient’s life by some painless means
Euthanasia and abortion represent a culture of death:
If it is true that Joe Biden’s pro-abortion platform received over 80 million votes, just 1 month ago, then it follows that it could not have happened without a major shift in Christian attitudes over life and death.
So why would anyone be surprised that abortion (dismemberment or chemical) up to the time of birth is allowed?
Christian Post, January 13, 2019 (here)
7 states already allow abortion up to birth — not just New York
The seven (now eight) states that have no gestational limits on abortion are: Alaska, Colorado, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, and Vermont, along with Washington, D.C.
Despite abortion up to the time of birth being legal in several states and the nation’s capital, there are only five clinics nationwide that perform late-term abortions. Two are in states that allow abortion up to birth and three are in states that prohibit late-term abortion but allow exemptions (California, Maryland and Ohio).
And if abortion up to just before the time of birth is now legal, how long will it be before after-birth abortion and involuntary euthanasia follow globally?
“There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death.” Proverbs 14:12
